2 minutes walk from "heroes square", please face the column in the square, then go left. It will remind you about the old age. get a photograph, and that is it.

The Time Wheel is the largest sand glass of the world. It’s made from red stone in 2004, when Hungary joined the European Union. An interesting, modern monument a 5 minutes walk from the Heroes' Square.

It's located by Heroes' Square and it's an interesting monument . It was set up when Hungary joined the EU.

Herner John idea, who in 1982 invented the hourglass with a validity of 1 year, but the idea was abandoned.
In 1995, the project was raised again, and then joined to the idea Janáky Stephen (Budapest, 1938 April 29 - .. Hódmezővásárhely, 2012 August 6) architect, professor, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy University of Arts.
The wheel was originally intended not only rotate around its axis, swept square
with a 64 years period.
Finally, in 2004, in the presence of Prime Minister Peter Medgyessy opened wheel of time. The project was 350 million forints, including 220 million in state aid, and other private investors to contribute. Crystals of glassare used instead of sand.
A good place for a photo.
Recently, near the TimeWheel, hosted start Budapest International Marathon.
