We had fish and chips with a beer for 3200 huf. The fish was average but in breadcrumbs, not in batter. The chips were those thin chips which are not real chips. But all was not lost as the beer was ok and the view was great across to Castle Hill.

Recommended by the receptionist at Bohem Art Hotel, this is a lovely little restaurant. Relaxed style and great food - really tasty duck.

This was the best restaurant we visited in our month-long vacation. Our hotel - Bohem Art - recommended Gepard es Urhajo for a taste of authentic Hungarian cuisine and we were extremely satisfied with the quality of the food, which was very well prepared and presented, but not expensive. We sat outside on the terrace, enjoyed our meal with wine, and watched the nearby filming of a car chase scene for Bruce Willis' latest Die Hard movie. This restaurant is quiet, well run and definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant is is right on the river. We sat outside on a beautiful evening and enjoyed the food and the views. The staff was very nice and they have a nice selection of wines by the glass to chose from. The food was very well prepared and the portion sizes we just right, think upscale restaurant, not Cheesecake Factory. I would recommend the Gypsy Pork if they have it.

We arrived in Budapest quite late on Sunday evening and didn't want to spend hours wandering round looking for somewhere to eat. Our hotel (Bohem Art) recommended this restaurant as it was just round the corner, with a terrace overlooking the Danube. I started with the aubergine pate which was beautifully presented and really delicious and afterwards had the vegetable tagliatelle which, again, was presented magnificently and was incredibly tasty. My husband also enjoyed his goulash soup and the pork and mushroom dish. We were too full to sample desserts. The staff spoke very good English and were very friendly and attentive. Prices were incredibly reasonable for a very good standard of food. A very good experience which I would recommend. Also, don't miss the Chef Cafe (which is actually a restaurant) just round the corner.
