Description: Családias éttermünk a múlt század közepének ódon hangulatát idézi, a belváros szívében, a Duna-parttól egy sarokra, a Sörház és Molnár utca sarkán, a Váci utca tőszomszédságában található. Éttermünk kizárólag vacsoraidőben tart nyitva, keddtől szombatig, 18:00 órától 23:00 óráig. Minden hétfőn és vasárnap zárva vagyunk. Borlapunkon a magyar borászok remekműveinek adunk otthont. Családos vendégeinket kizárólag a gyermek 7 éves korától tudjuk fogadni. Megértésüket köszönjük!

I rarely give five stars in reviews. This was our most expensive meal in Budapest but by far the best, and at 13,600HUF for two people including drinks and tip it was really good value by English standards (about £39). The moment I set eyes on chef Ottó Laczkó I knew we were going to get a great meal, there's an air of reassurance about him.

We skipped starters so we would have space for a pudding, and had the seasonal dish 'Everything about the Goose' which is for two people. Three different cuts of goose (leg, breast, liver) served as plain meat, then more lesser cuts of goose (probably heart and gizzard) in a risotto, accompanied by lovely potatoes, beans and red cabbage. Brilliant!

Puddings were great as were the wines. We could have spent a lot more on wines as the waiter is obviously an afficionado. The tables are set way apart from each other so there's not the slightest crowding. Highly recommended.

The food here was very good....could have been warmer. There was some confusion regarding what was ordered but that was probably our fault....I definitely would recommend this little restaurant about 1 block from the Bohem Art Hotel.

I'd like to relay a remarkable example of excellent service. We enjoyed the wine that our server suggested and I asked if he could write down the specifics (vintage, etc). It was a busy evening and we left without getting this info. The next afternoon as we were walking by the restaurant, our server from the previous evening came running out and apologized for not giving us the specifics about the wine and told us that he had dropped off a paper with all the information about this wine at our hotel...We were dumbfounded! Sure enough, when we entered our hotel (Bohem Art Hotel), the woman at the desk handed me the paper that the server had left for us. Now, THAT is service.
