The hotel is nice, but if you need to be connected to wifi to communicate I would not stay there. We had problems with wifi on multiple devices every day, they had no explanation or solution. I saw multiple people downstairs at reception with the same issue. The hotel is also very dark and the decor is not for everyone. We were satisfied with the room and the hotel location but not the wifi.

Great stay, one of a kind hotel and beautiful decor, would defiantly recommend! Great staff and service, went with friends. Only thing I would say is that be prepared for low lighting! The location was amazing, walking distance from the everything!

Unusual décor and great service. Is quite expensive but (just about) worth it for a special trip. Stayed when the massive thunderstorm hit but hotel was not affected. Great cocktails in the bar! Recommended for couples especially.

Room Tip: High rooms better as quieter

Good hotel located in the city centre dark interior which is not my preference. Only complaint is that the AC in the room didn't have the power to go below 22 degrees Celsius. It was much warmer on the second level of the room where the bed was, felt closer to 25-28 degrees up there. Complained twice and staff were unable to help. Not the end of the world but I would expect climate control in a 5 star hotel to keep up with its guests comfort in terms of temperature. Also the room has way too many controls for different things that all look the same. Overall the hotel was fine but not fantastic though the staff were excellent.

From seeing pictures of this hotel on the internet we knew it was going to be something special. The hotel is all red and black and is amazing. Our room was clean and well proportioned, with lots of storage space for your clothes and a specific place for you to store your luggage. The bed was very comfortable, with huge pillows that you sank into. The bathroom was also very clean, with everything you needed. As other reviews have mentioned the toilet is a novelty, but well worth the giggle. The room was equipped with two fridges, one well stocked by the hotel and an empty one for you to stock with whatever you fancied.

Breakfast was simply delicious. One of the best we have had with a huge variety of fresh fruit, cheeses, cold meats and pastries. Cooked breakfasts are done to order and I can thoroughly recommend the eggs Benedict.

All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, often asking if you've had a good day or evening.

Simply can't fault it and would definitely stay here on our next trip to Budapest.
