Expensive place, with perfect tastes, when i visit it!!!
Chef must be really good!
The place is nice, i like to visit it again...
Wine was good, many choices.
Service must be much better, the real polite and not the "industrial" in the faces...

The meal here was great. If you want an excellent steak, this is a place to come to. We were here within days of it opening, so there were teething problems and it may be unfair to be too critical. Our waiter, for instance, tried too hard initially and then disappeared for the night – this was really annoying, but I would put it down to not getting the formula right just yet (there were several classes of waiters/waitresses too, just to add to the confusion!). In the meantime, the food which was delivered (4 quality steak selection and ribs in our case) was of excellent quality, although my soup was uninspiring. The wine list was extensive with a good selection of Hungarian and international wines. Pricing all round was reasonable, alhough there are some expensive options. Our problem was in understanding what the restaurant wants to be. It is superbly decked out, and new, with an island bar in the middle of the very spacious eating area. The background music was over-bearing rather than sedate, but the bigger problem was the traffic the bar attracted. While we were getting stuck into our superb meals, the bar was doing a roaring trade for people who only came in for a quick drink. That’s fine, in itself, but for those expecting a quiet, quality meal, it would be a disappointment. The bottom line for us was that the meal quality was superb, but the restaurant needs to work out whether it wants to be a place which attracts patrons for its food, or whether it wants to be a place where it is great to be seen (a scene).

I had a business lunch with a colleaggue.
The ambient is somehow cool and modern - ok if you like it.
The first thing was that the service recommended the most expensive wine by glass as I guess he was thinking we were tourists. They price one deciliter but sell mostly 2 dcl. there was no saying that the bottle would be less expensive. Finally I decided to go for a wine that was not available. the guy started again to recommend expensive wine that I do not like and want.
The starter was really ok (Tuna and a Thai soup). During the starter they told us thatw e cannot pay with credit card. (I still do not believe that), He suggested to go to ATM or to pay with euro. The euro xchange rate was bad .After negotiation he offered the standard exchange rate.
The prime burger I ordered was grilled till death - just dry and tasteless. at least the waiter suggested to get a new one..
Summarize: service average , food average and price in the upper mid range.
There are cleary better options in Budapest.

We found this place in the Mammut Shopping Centre and thought we'd give it a try. The decor is pleasing and modern. The waiter we had was really pleasant and efficient and all of the staff seemed to speak fluent English and be of good humour. We had an issue with the amount of time the steaks took to arrive but we were given complimentary aperitif's and a tomato mousse to keep us occupied whilst we waited. The steaks were excellent quality and cooked as we ordered and to be fair worth waiting for. I thought the prices were very reasonable and certainly cheaper than back home.

the night we went was quiet and so the place did not have a great atmosphere but I could see that it would have a good buzz had there been a few more punters.

We visited this place as a friend of mine has business relationship with the owner. I honestly did not expect such a nice, elegant restaurant in the shopping mall.

The food and service is simply excellent. Definitely the best steak in town. However by the time we got to steak I was full. We ordered a few tiny appetizer bites. Well, I thought tiny because of the tiny price but indeed they were plenty.
Wine selection is nice
