We had the pleasure of staying at the Iberostar Grand in Budapest and I have never wanted to write a review so quickly.
Me and my partner arrived on Thursday night, only to be greeted with the grim news that they didn’t have a booking under our name (we accidentally booked for 2019). The staff were amazingly compassionate and spent the next half an hour finding an alternative place for us to stay (as they were fully booked) and blocked a room for us so we could stay at the hotel from the following day.
When we came to the hotel the next day, the manager knew of our situation and went out of her way to make sure we were okay.
The hotel itself is magnificent; centrally located with beautiful features and exceptional facilities, but the customer service offered at the hotel is what really separates it from its competitors.
I would like to say thank you in particular to Bence, Szabolcs, Blanca and Anita for all they did for us.
We may have started the trip with an accident of booking in the wrong year, but instead of cancelling we now can’t wait to come back and enjoy the experience all over again.
