Comfortable sleeping room. Way over the top decor. Very attentive staff. Quiet location with little street noise at night. Breakfast both from a menu and a small buffet, both very good. Excellent coffeemaker in sleeping room-unusual. Bathroom with private WC and separate room for shower. All and all a very nice small hotel. Immaculate.

Room Tip: A room at the back facing the square.

Budapest is an amazing city. The Iberostar Grand was an amazing hotel, perfect combination for an amazing weekend really :)
bedroom was not huge (twin beds were basically not separated) and the glass walled bathroom wasn't ideal for friends sharing, BUT loved our stay. the beds were super comfortable, the view was spectacular, the location was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. A tip for breakfast or a morning/afternoon tea is the strudel shop a few doors down - I had 4 pieces it was that good!!!!

The location of this hotel is absolutely splendid. It is within walking distance of all the major attractions, bars and restaurants. We had a deluxe room which was the most luxurious I have ever stayed in. The room directly overlooked Liberty Square and was huge in all dimensions. We stayed at a half board basis and only found the food barely adequate. Breakfast was ok but dinner was of a limited choice and the menu appears to be unchanged on a daily basis which would become a bore should you spend more than a weekend. The overall experience however was positive as the staff were attentive without being overly so

What a fabulous hotel this is. We had read the rave reviews on Tripadvisor and we certainly weren't disappointed. Great location. Best rooms on the top floor (floor to ceiling glass walls). Definitely worth upgrading to a superior room or a suite and asking for a view of Liberty Square. We opted for half-board: delicious buffet (or a la carte) breakfast - with champagne, if you like and a visual feast in the evening (a la carte). Will definitely return!

Room Tip: Go for a superior room or a suite on the top (5th) floor!

My partner and I stayed here for three nights at the start of October. The hotel is very well located close to the St Stephen's, the Parliament and the Danube. First impressions of the hotel were very favorable, modern, spotless clean, attentive staff, the reception area was very small and not the most convenient if more than one guest is waiting to be seen. Our hotel room was excellent, it was large, modern, very functional, only small grip was there was no electrical plug near the mirror much to my partners frustration as she wanted to use her hair straighteners, The bed was very comfortable, bathroom large, with a standalone bath and a large refreshing shower. Had a smashing view out across the sqaure. We used the Spa and gym and the spa/sauna was first class. My one and only complaint was one evening we had room service and the food was cold and the portions hugely disappointing. In summary the hotel is i a great location, has excellent facilities, attentive staff, but steer clear of the room service,
