“Exactly as promised. Delicious!”
Reviewed October 9, 2012 via mobile

Mario and his team did an amazing job bringing Italy to Budapest. Please understand that this isn't fine dining but instead a casual restaurant with wonderful food. Different varieties of pizza litter the menu but there is also daily pasta specials behind the cash on a white board and in the main dining area. Mario took the time to review the daily specials with us and always made sure we were well served. You'll also notice lots of locals at lunch. Great place for lunch to break-up your day of sightseeing. Enjoy.

Don't forget to tip since they do not include the tip at the bottom of your receipt.

“Perfect for a quick lunch”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

This small cafe with a decent size seating area at the back was perfect for a lunch break during a busy day of sight seeing.

The menu had a variety of pizza/pasta along with a selection of specials. We had the diavolo pizza, and a smoked salmon salad. The pizza was fresh and delicious with a generous topping of spicy sausage. Similarly the salad had a good amount of salmon and the orange pieces worked surprisingly well. Both were around the £5 mark which is an absolute steal for the quality.

Would not give it 5/5, as simply the dishes are not the best food you will taste in budapest, but if you are looking for a great lunch at a fantastic price, look no further

“Best Cappuccino and Croissant in Town”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

If you are in Budapest looking for a place where to enjoy some really italian „primi”, I strongly suggest you to try this place. I have known the two owners, Giovanni and Mario, since 2008 when they first open the bar. At that time they could do only coffee, cappuccino, croissants and sandwiches, and it already was the best place in town where to have a true italian breakfast! Now you can also enjoy some really good pizza and pasta, always „al dente”. The menu changes every day, with different selections depending on Giovanni’s mood :) Desserts are also very good and I especially recommend the Tiramisu, always very fresh. The place is great also for a fast business lunch. It's also a great place if you would like to watch a soccer match in the evening…. but remember to book in advance if an italian team is playing, or you won’t even be able to stand :)
