“Fantastic sound”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2013

We went to hear the Budapest Festival Orchestra play Mahler in the main concert hall and found the sound to be absolutely fantastic. It's worth getting to the hall early to enjoy a drink and snack before the performance and to have a look round the very impressive building which is beautiful inside and worth a visit in itself. Our particular seats in the dress circle, (left hand side row 1, seats 1 and 2), had a slightly restricted view which isn't mentioned when booking online and we would probably sit closer to the platform if we went again.

“Great place for unforgettable music and art performance”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 9, 2013

In this location we had the pleasure to hear a concert in the concert hall, as well as enjoy an opera. It is a very stylish 21st century building, ading to the couple of concert halls and opera houses that Budapest already had.
It is incredibly beautiful. The concert hall has a great acustics as well. All facilities of the building are very well designed and nice to be there.

I had the opportunity to attend a wonderful concert while I was in Budapest. What a beautiful place to visit and to enjoy beautiful music. I was most impressed with everything. I got to write on the Christmas train to the performance. Wonderful!!

“The place to visit if you like music and other arts”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

The best concert hall in Europe, with the best Hungarian musicians and with a lot of world famous musicians giving concerts. Beside concerts you can enjoy ballet and dance performances and there is the Ludwig museum as well. In the interval you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the illuminated Budapest on both side of the Danube.
