Absolutely superb. The orchestra and conductor were TOPS! The venue is glorious - like some kind of heavenly jukebox. Amazing. Wonderfu. Young Italian started the concert with some Beethoven and received SEVEN curtain calls. Great night for music in the snow!

Have visited this place twice during Spring Festival - first to the smaller theatre to watch an adaptation of The Magic Flute, and second to the main hall for Mendelssohn, Britten, Verdi from a 20 piece orchestra and opera singer. The acoustics in both rooms are exceptional, but also the main concert hall is quite stunning. I sat on the third tier up off to one side, where they line the edge with loose chairs. Comfortable and no problems to report.

Some say it's too modern, others say it was too expensive to build. But the truth is that if you properly choose a programme, you will never be disappointed. Staff is always very friendly, the booking of tickets is easy, seats are comfy, you can hardly find a bad part...
The only strange thing is about the parking: if you attend an event that attracts many people, you'd rather get there at least 1 hr before the event starts. Otherwise you will indeed get a parking place but you will surely be late as there are always queues...

Fantastic building, wonderful performance of Marriage of Figaro. One big fault - far too hot in the auditorium.

We went to see Sir Simon Rattle and the Age of Enlightenment Orchestra. We were amazed when we saw the wonderful wooden walls, the huge pipe organ and listened to the orchestra. We really enjoyed the evening and the music, but just to see this really amazing building is worth the visit.
