“Impressive”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

This is a lesson on how to build a modern cultural centre. Mercifully gimmick free it is a fine example of modern architecture using high quality materials and as an added bonus the Bartok Hall where symphony concerts are held (apart from Summer) boasts some of the best acoustics in the world, not surprising as it was engineered by Artec the leaders in this field. It's a relatively short tram ride from the centre of the city in an area which was once industrial but now being revitalised. Not a great number of tourists get to see this part of Budapest which is a blessing in itself.
Highly recommended for those looking to go beyond the obvious. In conclusion I must say that in all my travels throughout the world,to all continents, Budapest remains in my top 3 or 4 favourite cities, I adore it!

“Just as spectacular as my first visit!”

The facade, the interior approach to the large concert hall, the fantastic acoustics and decor of the hall itself: should be a MUST for any music lover visiting Budapest!

“Beautiful on the Inside and Around”
Reviewed December 5, 2012

I took a long walk down the Danube with my girlfriend to get here but I can't say I didn't enjoy it. The palace of arts is one of her favorite places not because of the lights around it at night but seeing as we went during the day time, we enjoyed the tower and the maze outside. It's beautiful!

“Visit if you like contemporary Architecture and Arts”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

The most beautiful building raised in Budapest in this Millennium. Overall, a very pleasant place to be. Nice cafe and all you can eat restaurant in the building, a nice souvenir shop, a great Museum where you can see some work of Yoko Ono and Picasso and a very nice view of the Castle Hill and the Danube. Worth the travel by tram 2 - as this is one of the few sites in Budapest which are not walking distance from the city center.

“Impressive building”

Very nice place. It's a very impressive modern building. Many performances are held there. It' s located nearby the National Theatre. Worth seeing both of them.
