Every time we visit Budapest, a visit to Anna’s Cafe is a must. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The Hungarian Goulash soup is plentiful and delicious. The Venison was perfect, served with a beautiful orange sauce, and the most amazing dumplings. The only drawback, this was served on cold plates. For dessert, try the Anna Palacsinta, simply gorgeous.

Twice visited in five days is commendation in itself.

Anna's cafe left a lot to be desired. Sure, the food was great quality and I recommend ordering one of their tasty club sandwiches - definitely the best I've ever had. However, the coffee's were disappointing - very expensive and distinctly average. The value for money was not good - we were shocked at the cost of our meal (two sandwiches, alcoholic coffees and beers) which had come to £35-40! This included a hefty service charge, which we felt uncomfortable refusing to pay (being in a different country where we couldn't speak the language) and quite frankly, we did not receive any service - we had to go inside and ask the very rude staff to assist and take our orders and they didn't give the impression they wanted us there. A good place to people watch, and enjoy a sandwich - but nothing more. A great shame.

We popped into Anna Cafe on our last day to people watch and pass time whilst it snowed outside. The coffee, hot chocolate and service were all very good. The staff were friendly and the price was surprisingly cheap

Lovely cafe, very busy, but good service. An extensive menu but we sampled the gorgeous cakes and coffees. The hot chocolate is highly recommended.

Very good option for a sandwich, salad or breakfast. It doesn´t have the best ambience but the waiters a nice, quick and the food was good. The terrace is a perfect place for a break while walking around.
