We' ve been to the Budapest twice last winter with my friend and the both times stay atthis hotel . The staff are extremely friendly and helpfull!
Closed to the center and its very easy to get to the most of the thermal baths and other sightseengs of the central Budapest. Particularly, you can hear some noise from the street but its very common if you stay in the central parts of city. Tasty breakfast, good location and good prices!

I recommend this hotel to my friends and plan to come back here again in fall and winter!
With Best Regards and Gratitude from Sweden!

Great hotel, staff and facilities - wonderful clean and smart rooms, very comfortable. Reception staff very helpful, breakfast is great, and the free wifi is excellent. Feels like a much higher rating but the location is a little way out of the town centre but walkable or jump on the tram.

Thanks to all the team for a wonderful stay.

Fabulous friendly staff, rooms very clean. Close to a new neighbourhood shopping center. Great food and atmosphere on Raday street which was a 15 minute walk away. Beds were firm but comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Close to transit. Showers doors were a bit tricky
We'd definitely stay there again

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone - friendly and helpful staff, spotless and great breakfast. It is also situated near the Corvin Plaza which is convenient for transport - trams and a metro. It has a spa (sauna and jacuzzi) and you can have a massage there which is excellent.

+ The hotel is very nice, modern and clean. The staff of the Hotel was very polite and always ready to help us (Many thanks to Dani) . The breakfast was great! They have games and i pads at the lobby for the guests to use. Also it is good that they have a private parking place for your car at a reasonable price. The hotel is not very far from the Center . WiFi which is free is a plus . The Rooms are Soundproofed , you cannot hear anything form outside.

- The location is not great , The neighborhood is a bit creepy with old buildings but i would visit them again anyway.

Room Tip: we had 203 which was great as it was a corner room and maybe bigger than the other rooms.

We stayed for five nights in BO18 and enjoyed our visit very much. The hotel is in a rather rundown street in the Jozsefvaros district, which is not unlike parts of Prague 40-odd years ago. The location does have its advantages, however, especially its transport connections. The no.4. and no.6 trams travel the length of the ring road which connects Petofi Bridge in the south (near the hotel) and Margit Bridge in the north, a short walk from the Parliament building. The no.2 tram, down to the river from the hotel, travels the length of the Danube embankment on the Pest side. Connections with the airport are also easy. Take the metro from Corvin-negyed station (the nearest to the hotel) to its southern terminus at Kobanya-Kispest, and then take the 200E bus to its terminus at the airport.

The hotel staff are polite and helpful, the breakfast very good, and the rooms light and modern. All I would say is that although the rooms have coffee and tea making facilities, the charge of 100 forints (c.30p.) for a sachet of coffee or tea, and 50 forints for milk is rather mean-spirited, and should be included in the cost of the stay.

If you are intending to visit the Parliament buildings, you would be well advised to do this through the hotel, rather than go to the booking office in the Ethnographical Museum near the Parliament, where tickets may be sold out. The hotel staff can tell you by looking online when tickets are available, and you can pay by card (not cash). The visit is no longer free, incidentally. It is now 2000 forints per person.

If you intend eating near the hotel in the evenings, we found it convenient to walk to Raday utca, a street off Kalvin ter (Calvin Square), where has restaurants from one end of the street to the other.

Stayed at the Bo18 hotel for a couple of nights with my girlfriend whilst we travelled across Europe.
The hotel is very good, clean and modern. It caters well for travellers of all ages but is more aimed at the younger traveller.
Don't be put off with the hotel surroundings! Its off the main road and down a side street. Albeit the hotel is modern, the surrounding buildings and streets look dark and dirty, but this is part of its history and charm and is typical of many streets in Budapest. There is a plaque on the wall opposite the hotel to commemorate the Hungarian uprising and you can see dozens of bullet holes scattered across the walls.
The hotel is located about 30 mins walk into the centre of Budapest and we walked it into town a few times, no problems. There is a Metro near by which doesn't cost much. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby on the main road. You've got a McDonalds less than 5 mins away.
The hotel has good facilities, loved the sauna & jacuzzi. It does a great breakfast and we loved the champagne at breakfast.
All in all, an excellent hotel, a bit of a walk out of town but easy with the Metro. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely return if coming back to Budapest.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room to the side.
