Took our two sons and their girlfriends here for our Pearl anniversary. I can't think of any negatives. It was superb. Zsophia and Timi were so helpful as were all the staff. We nearly missed the bronze sculpture of boys playing marbles in Prater street. Left out of the hotel, right before the Mall. 2 mins walk from the hotel. We were all hot in our rooms and apparently the aircon system is switches off on October 1st. Better than being cold. The sauna and jacuzzi is good. You need to give them about 20mins notice to warm up the sauna. Breakfast superb.Chocolate fountain was there on Sunday. Ate in Stex nearby on the first night. On their advice went to Tokaj on night two. We took the metro, but could have walked. Had a 72hour pass and were a little foot sore. Night 3 the children took us to Menza. A metro ride but very close to the stop Oktogon. Back to hotel . There are games in the lobby, chess, ludo, dice all good to while away a few moments whilst waiting for friends. There are some silver dice on the bar. We won wine and postcards with these. All had a free glass of wine anyway and we had a bottle for our anniversary and our son for his birthday.
A couple of minor points. As an hotel with jacuzzi in the basement bathrobes would have been helpful. We also had nothing on the back of the room door to follow in the event of a fire. I'm sure this is a requirement. Very safe area. Walked all around hotel day and night. I would recommend this hotel to friends which I seldom do, it was superb. good value, great breakfast.

Room Tip: Rooms 112 and 114 were in the very new part, room 106 was as good but didn't have such a posh sh...

Small modern hotel located in a quiet street, the surrounding area may seem a little bit dark at first but it is SAFE and under renovation. Extremely efficient, friendly and helpful staff with an excellent knowledge of the city, they helped us out with the airport transfers and with all the local bookings for city tours, boarding passes etc.. There is a shopping mall 100 meters from the hotel with supermarket, food court, shops and money change booth. On the other side of the mall you will find metro, trams and buses. Hop on hop off buses are within walking distance as most of the dowtown attractions.
Rooms are very comfortable, clean and spacious with good facilities such as safe air con etc.
Breakfast was excellent and aside from wi-fi they also provide usage of free laptop/tablet at the reception area. We could not be more pleased and will come back!

A brand new hotel. Euro modern. We had a large room. All the modern amenities, but spartan furnishings. The breakfast room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, by any standards. The young people at the front desk were very courteous and ready to help with all traveler needs. Five star treatment in a comfortable and affordable three star hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for larger room, if possible.

I travelled solo and spent full days out in Budapest. For a 3* boutique hotel, it's a perfect one with 5* standard. The room was very clean with decent minimalist decor and furniture, safe deposit box, mini bar, power shower, decent size and comfy bed.

The reception was small but very welcoming, warm and nice to sit around. The amenities in the hotel were adequate along with iPads provided to use in the reception lounge with a welcome glass of wine I think was a nice gesture.

The breakfast was very good. Varieties of cheeses, cold cuts, breads, cereals, good quality teas & drinks, fruits - fresh & preserved, Hungarian lecsó stew, etc. Even there were chocolate fountain and champagne!

All of the staffs were very courteous, friendly and helpful! I didn't know how to get back to the hotel from a restaurant one night and one staff explained to me in detail and thorough by phone how, where and what to take to get back without even getting lost!

I really love this hotel. Wish I could stay longer than 2 nights as was travelling around Europe. The price was excellent, not cheap nor expensive. Location is quite but not far to the center by public transports which are within short walking distance. There are a couple of shops, places to eat and I think also a mall nearby.

I will absolutely recommend this hotel. In fact, this hotel is the only one in my mind and I won't bother to look around again. I will be back here as planning to visit Budapest again in the very near future with my family.

I booked this hotel through a combination of trip advisor and what was available through my American Airlines points.

The location is a bit south from all the sights, but all the sights in Budapest are pretty spread out. The hotel is ~4 blocks away from the metro. Convenient that this is the line that connects to the airport bus.

The included breakfast in the morning is great, they even have champagne!

The rooms are basic, but clean. The pillows, towels and mattresses leave something to be desired - as thin as can be.

Spent four nights here, good room facilities and very friendly reception staff who were most helpful and willing to give advice and answers to all requests/questions.It is easy to access all areas of the city,we walked everywhere in Pest and used public transport to visit Buda. The breakfast was more than adequate and items replenished quickly again by very pleasant staff. We e-mailed the hotel with questions before our visit and were given prompt and clear answers by Brigitta (the Hotel prebooked transfers and they were actually cheaper than quoted with very courteous drivers).
