We had a fantastic 4 night stay in beautiful Budapest. The apartment was perfect for us...amazing river view, central location, clean and well equipped.
Ann's communication was very clear and informative allowing us to easily reach the apartment by public transport. There were lots of tourist guides in the apartment which complimented our own.
We were able to arrange late-ish check out to suit return flights which was ideal.
Only very minor negative was the couch wasn't very comfortable and would have prefered a double bed rather than singles together.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and very happy to recommend this apartment or stay again.
Best location. Everything accessible within walking distance! We stayed 2 weeks and didn't want to leave! All you need is in the apartment and we cooked several nights. The view is 2nd to none and we loved watching the river boats coming in and out. The owner is very easy to deal with as are the agents who meet and greet you on your arrival. Nothing is too much trouble!! We will be back and we will stay here again. It was just like a home away from home!
There are so many good things to say about this flat, but I'm going to start with the view... it's all about the view!! It is a 5 star view. We started every morning with coffee and ended every evening with wine... sitting in front of the window. We slept with the window open to enjoy the fresh air. The views are great and you get to watch all the activity below.
We enjoyed having the kitchen for that fresh coffee in the morning and having a fridge to keep our drinks and foods from the market. This flat is within walking distance to many eateries, a great little market (Prima) and the large Central Market. The tram stop is right in front of the building so it couldn't be any more convenient. The building is quiet and we never heard noise from other flats.
The host, Ann, was tremendous. She was easy to communicate with and was very prompt. I appreciate that. She does have drivers who can pick up/drop off at airport or train station if you would like. Just ask her.
OK, so there are a few things if you are truly picky. The couch is not in the greatest shape and likely does not offer a comfortable nights sleep if there are more than 2 adults. (The bed was fine) The bath towels leave something to be desired, such as a good fabric softner, but certainly not enough to hold you back from grabbing this place for your stay.
I would not hesitate to stay here again. Don't let this deal get away from you.
I would rate this a 4 star accommodation it's location is too good just overlooking the Danube river, close by 100 meters away you can find lot of decent eating joints and a small grocery store, tram is bang opposite to the building, metro station was around 600 meters away, downtown was just close by, the apartment is quite decent size it has a living room and a bedroom, it was fully loaded with all equipments, cooking range, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave etc etc, the apartment had a fan and a portable AC which was of great relief since Budapest was damn hot during our stay.
I felt the bed was not too comfortable since it has two single beds which was joined to look double bed this could be changed to one large size bed.
Overall the stay was comfortable and the hostess was easy to contact through text message or what's app.
It was worth staying at such a good and spacious apartment, will try to stay again when back in Budapest!
This was our second visit to Budapest and staying at Ann's apartment. It was perfect. Beautiful apartment with amazing views of the river. Very central and tram stop opposite. Budapest is a beautiful, clean, quiet and friendly city with so much to do. Abris picked us up at the airport and took us back. I so highly recommend this apartment - it is a real gem and we will be back. Thank you Ann again.
My wife and I visited Budapest for a few days in advance of a river cruise. This was an excellent apartment to serve as a centralized base allowing us to tour much of the city and feel like a "local". Set near the Elizabeth Bridge the hotel provided awesome views of the river, bridge, and the Buda side- including the castle and liberty bridge. Ann was very accommodating and made the stay special. Abris collected us from the airport at a reasonable fee and got us into the city hassle free- very much appreciated and recommended. Budapest is a likely city and has slot to offer. The apartment is close to restaurants, Vaci street is close, metro stops are very close, and the Number 2 tram- which goes up the Pest side towards the Parliament Bldg- is literally across he street. The Markeplace is a short walk- so very centralized!
Decent sized apartment with needed amenities in the kitchen. There is a dishwasher, fridge, and a cloths washer in the apartment. Air Conditioner is a portable type and was having to work very hard when we were there during an uncommon heat wave (~38C).
I strongly recommend this apartment for those traveling as couples wanting to experience city living as a local rather than the ho- hum hotel experience- and probably doing so less expensively! Everything is there and very centralized! Thanks, Ann!
Budapest, Danube view, a wonderful city. The apartment was so close to the Hop on hop off bus stop, tram, easy to get to the huge market hall, and the street behind had so many wonderful restaurants and local flavor, we were so happy here. four days was not enough. The apartment was all we needed for our time touring Budapest, we did not see it all and. Hope to be back, we will recommend to all our family and friends coming this way. The owners gave us so many details and pointers, thank you to them.
