This was perhaps my wife and I's first ever stay in an independent boutique hotel and we were impressed - by the attention to detail, the attentive staff, superb breakfast and unique room decor. The only slight drawbacks were the tight seating in the breakfast room and that room's subterranean location.

Having stayed here on a great deal last year, we decided to stay again 2 days before our wedding and recommended it to our wedding guests. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable and kitsch. The breakfast is a particular highlight, especially the champagne. The hotel is a great base for exploring a fascinating city and we would not hesitate to return whenever we stay in Budapest in the future.

Close to pedestrian shopping street and close to river; concierge gave us recommendations to two wonderful restaurants (one of which was the nearby Chef's Cafe). Clean and comfortable and very quiet. Reservation included a welcome cocktail and a free bottle of water each day.

Booked directly with the hotel and an airport transfer was thrown in .Took the feeling lucky option and had a suite cannot comment on the standard rooms but the suite while not overly big was very nice .The hotel was immaculate and all the staff first rate Other reviewers have raved about breakfast but while good I've had better . The location is good and with a recently opened Metro Station nearby and the first class public transport system nowhere is difficult to get to. A lot has been said about tickets but we did what we do in Berlin and bought a day pass from a machine at the station which you do not have to validate it's already date stamped and away you .a wonderful trip

The Bohem Art Hotel is very well located in the city centre, just a two-minutes walk away from the wonderful Liberty Bridge (Szabadság híd). I travelled to Budapest by car and it was quite easy to find the hotel (of course the GPS helps a lot). Nevertheless, it was a bit painful to find where to park in order to do the check-in and have access to the hotel’s private parking. About the parking, I would definitely recommend you to book your spot in advance as it costs 18 euro per night with reservation and 23 euros per night without. I found the room and bed to be a bit small for the price paid but this was not much of an inconvenient as the furniture was quite modern and the room layout was nicely designed. The staff was very nice and helpful and spoke a very good English. I would absolutely recommend you to try the breakfast. It is a very diverse buffet with a lot of options to choose from (salty and sweet). Finally, Champaign at breakfast was kind of awkward, at least for me, but it is nice to try at least once.
