My wife and I spent our 15th wedding anniversary at the Bohem and really enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts here are excellent and the strudel is reason enough to go back. A lovely hotel, centrally located with very helpful staff and great value for money.

Stayed at this hotel in Feb 2012. Loved the art works and everyhing else. Good breakfast! The staff kindly recommended some very nice restaurants and assisted with taxis etc. Location was also pretty good, walking distance to the nearby shopping district and close to the river.

we chose this hotel purely on reviews from tripadvisor, as it was our first trip to Budapest( which is an amazing city!).

Good staff, yes, the room we had wasnt that big, but it was clean, comfortable & well presented, we were only sleeping in it after all.

The breakfast in the morning was fabulous, best ive had in a city hotel, plenty to choose from, hot dishes, pastries, continental, freshly squeezed orange juice, & champagne if you like!

The hotel itself is in a side street within easy walking distance to the main sights.

This hotel is located in the city centre of Budapest! The hotel is hip & trendy. The rooms are a little bit smal but are airconditioned. The staff is very friendly and they do speak good English. Budapest is a wonderful and very clean city and cheap following our standards.

stayed for two nights, reception staff really helpful. as others have said the breakfast is pretty amazing. in terms of location, it was really well placed, central tourist attractions all
in walking distance (5 mins to nearest metro if you wanted to go further afield).

Six of us stayed for four nights at the Bohem Art Hotel. Rooms are relatively compact but very tastefully designed; each features a different original art mural immediately behind the bed. The hotel is spotlessly clean and clearly very well managed. Our bathroom was state-of-the-art with power shower. Decor is grey and white: rather cool and designee – maybe not to everyone’s taste. Most of the rooms look into a rear courtyard which has balconies to flats immediately opposite, so privacy can be an issue but net curtains are included and the room curtains are excellent and keep the room fully dark. The room air conditioning was quiet and effective.

The dining room is ingeniously shoe-horned into a sub basement under the courtyard - it was very busy when we stayed - this is clearly a popular hotel, and so care was required when eating; there wasn’t a lot of room. The food was excellent: freshly squeezed orange, fried eggs, pastries, fruit, so plenty to choose from. There is a small bar on the ground floor overlooking the basement dining room with nibbles, beer, wine and cocktails; hotel staff were very helpful and friendly at all times whilst we were there. There is no hotel restaurant for lunch or dinner.

The hotel is located on Molnar Street between the riverside road and a shopping street - travel in one direction towards the centre of Pest - the other to the Indoor Markets, The Gellert Hotel and baths was just across the river so very convenient. Also the hotel has no pool. We would recommend a visit: probably best in the week rather than the weekend as quieter. There is a lot to do in Budapest: the hop-on hop-off buses are a great way to get acquainted with this fascinating capital city.

In terms of value, location, style, convenience, cleanliness, and friendly staff Bohem scored on every count. It is easy to see why it is so popular - this is an excellent base for a short stay in Budapest.

Room Tip: Two of our friends had a slight problem with their sink and were moved to the second floor overlooki...
