We were recommended this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We wanted local cuisine with a calming atmosphere. Aldo delivered on every front and there was live jazz to boot!

“Beautiful food and great price. ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2013 via mobile

We ate here one night as we were staying a few doors down at the Zara hotel. The cafe is a bit posher than some but also not at all pretentious. The food was delicious and the staff lovely. I went for the steak and it was probably the best I have ever tasted. The local beer is spot on too and fangerously cheap. The whole dinner came to a very good price, more than some od the cafes around there but leas than the hotel would have been and hal the price of the se thing in the UK. Would definately go again if i ever get the chance. Top marks.

“Excellent food and a lovely atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

In the evenings there's always live music, mainly jazz singing which is a great accompaniment to the meal. I recommend the "strips of beef in a Dijon mustard sauce with potatoes"
The staff are exceptionally quick to bring your meal and are always courteous. The price is very good and its not what I'd consider to be a tourist trap, if you're in there try out some of the local Hungarian wine.

“Delicious and informal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

There is live Jazz music each night and the atmosphere is very casual. You must try the garlic soup and their lovely 'fried potatoes'

Plenty of locals there for their goulash and their music. 10/10 for food
