“Super Stay”
Reviewed October 2, 2013

Great apartment very quiet but in the middle of a very vibrant area with many restuarants bars and eateries on the doorstep.
The apartment was clean and tidy and I would definitiely go back for a second visit

Most helpful staff. Very convenient location. Excellent value for money and perfect place for staying with children.
Payment was outsourced to a third party from our credit card that we were not informed about beforehand.

The noise was the main problem here. Although we were not on top of the bars as such the noise seemed to echo in the courtyards and 'funnel' up to our floor even though we kept the windows closed. People are not allowed to smoke in the apartments so they smoke on the stairs and you can hear them talking and the butts are left on the stairs.
The staff were helpful. I used their transfer service, I didn't pay on arrival as got the email reminding me to pay cash too late. So it was a couple of days before I paid they were ok about it. They printed off our boarding passes for our return journey without a problem.
The room was clean on arrival and cleaned after 3 days with fresh towels. The bars do give a bit of atmosphere and buzz and are convenient for breakfast through to evening meals and drinks. In summary would recommend to those on a budget but take earplugs.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room when booking, they have a number to chose from but some are privately owned wit...

Wow!! Upgraded to the Opera Apartment as we were six people. Admittedly the Opera Apartment was some distance away, but other than a young man coming the morning after we arrived to collect payment, we never saw or heard another word from the management in the six days we were there. We were told that the apartment would be serviced twice during our stay. A nice enough penthouse apartment on O' Street near the Opera with three bedrooms, two baths and a spacious lounge and kitchen combined and done up in Ikea functional furniture. Although a jacuzzi was advertized, there was none. and in one of the bathrooms the shower curtain only just reached the side of a way too high bath and therefore we were continually flooding the bathroom floor! Four cups were provided even though the management knew that we were six people, and on Day 4 the toilet paper ran out. When I called up to request more and to ask why the apartment had not been serviced as promised, a very unpleasant woman responded that
WE HAD TO ASK FOR IT!! A gentleman dropped off four additional rolls of toilet paper and two cups later that night. Altogether a disappointing experience as we felt neither any caring or any real desire to help from the management.

We entered our apartment to the smell of a damp mop which we found in the closed toilet. The apartment had a really shabby decor. The pillows were useless and bed uncomfortable. The rooms were only cleaned on request. Outside seems to be every pub/bar in Budapest that keep the noise level in the apartment nice and loud. We asked for a taxi to be booked to take us to the airport as we had a really early flight. First off 2 taxis appeared and neither had our room number. We took one but were told that it would cost more than the 25 euros the reception had told us about. The taxi driver drove to the airport. We gave him 10,000 huf which he magically changed to a 1000 huf note and demanded more money. He argued with my partner very aggressively. I got out the taxi to remove our bags from the boot and the taxi driver then tried to shut the boot on my back. He swore at us and then we escaped to the airport building. Our conclusion was that he was a rogue driver and our apartment just forgot to book a taxi for us. Taxi Reg eck-901. Do not get into this taxi!
Budapest is worth a visit but stay in a hotel with a 24 hour reception and only use the hotels approved taxis. Go and have dinner at the lado cafe for a good dinner and brass band playing music while you eat. Spinoza restaurant is lovely too.

Room Tip: Spa was non existent!

Dear Guests,

I am sorry to hear you got a different taxi than the one we have organised for you. It is really dissapointing that happend to you but please note we have nothing to do with the driver or that taxi company you used. Our driver showed up on time but did not find you obviously is because you just got one on the street by the time we arrived. From now on we always call our guests attention that it is important to use only our certified drivers. We always try to make sure guests have good experiences throughout the whole stay in the whole city so they can value the apartments more objectively.

The location was perfect, situated in central budapest with easy access to local amenities, bars, pubs.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We came as a family of 5 with one child and the apartment I had booked was not big enough for us. So they gave us a more spacious one for no extra price. The apartment was very clean and with a lot of light.

Is not the kind of place that wants to rip you off as soon as they have the chance.

I would gladly stay with them again in my next visit to Budapest.

Room Tip: always choose one bedroom per couple

Everything was SUPER!!! I liked this hotel. The room was very clean with all necessary amenities. The Location was central near to the Metro station and money exchange. About 20 minutes walk to the Houses of Parliament and 10 minutes to the Opera Haus. Too pity, that I was there only one day...

Room Tip: This room is perfect for family
