My wife and I had a tour with Andrej today. He is genuine and enthusiastic about Budapest. It shows. The history is a given in broad strokes, but the details that matter to me are in the interchange of questions about culture, people, and issues of today. Facts cannot be easily forgotten, but to me the most memorable and endearing way to know Hungary is to take a trip with Andrej. Lunch with his parents is a true highlight. They too are warm, sincere, and genuine. The food is homely. It is a personal and unique experience. The 'treasure hunt' of the second half of the tour is an independent interactive questionaire. The 'treasure' is in walking a city, learning the facts, and meeting the people. Great idea. This the reward of an experience that will leave an unforgettable memory in our hearts and mind.
