Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner with delicious food, however, disappointed with two issues.
At start of our dinner we advised that we don't eat any pork as we were asked if we had any dietary constraints. My main course came with bacon on potato terrine and was advised by the service staff that the chef has said that I can just remove the ham from the top!!! Being one Michelin star restaurant we expected better especially as it was such a simple item to be removed before presenting it on our table (just spoilt my meal even before eating!!). Also when we asked if service charge is added on the bill we were advised that being a big company something filters down at the end implying that management does not pass on all the amount to the staff. Management needs to look into this issue.
Sommelier, Rita, was excellent and did a great job suggesting wines and drinks. Surely an asset to Costes. Overall a good experience but not the most memorable!
