Six of us on a short break visited this restaurant on our first night in the city. (One of our party had thankfully done his research!) The place was packed but they managed to fit us within five minutes or so. I was a bit apprehensive, this being an “all you can eat & drink” establishment. I needn’t have been. The food on offer was well cooked and tasty and the inclusive beers, wines, coffees and soft drinks, like the food, were of good quality. There were two separate food areas, one like a Mongolian Restaurant where you selected raw meat, fish etc for the chef to cook for you and the other a self service buffet with soups, hot meat and vegetarian dishes, salads, sushi etc available. There was also an extensive range of deserts and cakes and also a cheese board.
The waiting staff were well on top of clearing the used plates and glasses away and continually offering to refill glasses of wine, beer and/or mugs of coffee. (A special thanks to Christina for looking after us.)
We liked it so much we returned late on our last afternoon for a very relaxing couple of hours in the warmth before returning to our hotel and from there to the airport. On that occasion, with help, we found the mulled wine which was particularly welcoming as the outside air temperatures had dropped by the time we arrived
We thought it good value for money even for those with light apetites. All six of us ate and drank what we wanted and enjoyed it.
