We (a couple) were very surprized to learn that this place has so many terrible reviews on TripAdvisor. When we visited it, we had a very positive experience with almost every aspect of this restaurant.

First, the service was very polite and the waiter let two of us to sit at the table designed for 6 people. Usually, waiters push couples to sit at the table for two. In contrast, we didn't get any complain about sitting at the huge table next to the window. The food was made very quickly as another part of the good service.

Second, the pizzas that we ordered were amazing. It was the best pizza that we've tried in Budapest untill now. We worried that for 990 forints we would get a small pizza, which would not be enough for one person. But we were wrong because two pizzas were more than enough for both of us. The lemonades that accompanied our meal had different tasty flavours and quite reasonable price.

The place itself seemed very clean and a bit stylish with some Asian motives.

The only negative part of this place is that they played loud party type of music. They didn't accept credit cards, which was also a minus for us.

Anyways, we recommend you to visit this place to have some tasty and good size pizzas for very reasonable price.

Despite the uninspiring exterior we chose to eat here due to the wide variety available on the menu.

Having previously experienced the typical Hungarian tourist menu elsewhere we steered clear of that and the ubiquitous pizza/pasta offers and went for Mushroom soup and beaded mushrooms as our starters and Hungarian Steak and Stuffed chicken main courses. These were all flavoursome rustic dishes, unpretentious and with the definite feel of home cooked authenticity.

Take a chance and look at the wider menu and you won't be disappointed.

Food here is so bad that it is below reviewing. Meals lack any taste and they are cooked by someone who obviously has no clue what he or she is doing. Chicken is out-of-freezer type and sauces are bulk stock stuff that they just throw on the food. The traditional hungarian tasting platter was a joke; for example raw bacon that supposedly was trying to fake as a dry cured ham.

Staff was nice.
Food was fairly cheap for the location.
They couldn't ruin french fries.

We visited here quite often as we were staying at the hotel directly opposite. the staff were very friendly and the drinks were reasonably priced, about £1.20 for a large beer. The breakfast was cheaper than the hotel so we ate here , ham and 3 eggs was about £3. however a large fresh orange was £4. We had a meal on our last night and ordered goulash soup which was delicious, our main course of chicken was a little dry, but for the price it was o. k. Not a bad bar and convenient for hotel.

Went to this restaurant three times -- delicious food and such good value for the price. Pizzas delicious, salads, Hungarian dishes -- all good. Went here for eggs for breakfast, missing scrambled eggs and omelets from home. So good! Especially enjoyed waiter Czaba. So much fun, such great personality and great service.
