rooms were nice, clean and modern unlike some in Budapest. Hotel staff are really helpful and friendly. Great location right near a mainline train and the metro station. We also walked to the awesome open air spa from here.

Compared to the UK this is like a quirky more stylish Premier Inn. Highly recommend for a city break.

First impression was good in as much that the receptionist (Thomas) was very helpful and informative, although there was a queue and it did take some time. Location is good , near a metro although the area is under development. Room is small but clean, shower is excellent. We like tea etc in the mornings and asked for a kettle, which we got for 2 euros a day, which is ok. Deposit of 50 euros was made at receptionist in case we ate from the mini bar, but this was returned at the end of the stay. Safe is in the room.
Breakfast is good and we fuelled up accordingly. We used the mini airport shuttle and paid in Florints as it is cheaper, than euros. Get a return at the airport, again its cheaper.
Receptionists are excellent in the customer function an d you can see they only want to please.
Would stay again.

Lovely hotel. Everything is very good. I really didn't like the glass wall between the shower cabin and the room. That's ugly and unnecessary. Great breakfast. The price is okay but there is a far better hotel nearby at the same price.

Stayed here on a 2 night city break with my other half, room was spacious, clean and decorated nicely with mini bar but no kettle or tea provided. However staff are lovely and very helpful when needing an iron they got someone to get me one straight away. Although the location is that great area a bit shabby but fast food and shops are located right near the hotel. Central budapest is only 5-10 away in a cab didn't try the public transport as cabs aren't too expensive and seemed easier. Lovely hotel and holiday would defiantly stay again.

Lovely little hotel at the border of a relatively grotty, but improving area, and an area which is much nicer. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Particularly useful was their transfer service from and to the airport - Euro25 for the car per trip in a big comfortable Merc. Location is out of town a little in Pest, but handy for bus tours, public transport, the Opera and theatres. Despite the location, we always felt safe, even walking at night. Only complaint would be the height of the overhead shower head - almost trepanned me, but I am very tall. I'd recommend both Budapest and this hotel.

Rather an unprepossessing area very close to Eastern station but there is a lot of upgrading going on by the station at the moment. On good transport routes to downtown Budapest and from that point of view a very convenient place to stay. Hotel was very clean and rooms perfectly adequately equipped. If you need tea or hot drinks in your room you would need to bring your own travel kettle etc as that was not provided although there was a mini bar and fridge in the room and a small bar in the lobby. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. There was a supermarket across the road. If you wanted cheap eats there was also a Burgerking and Macdonalds nearby. About 10 minutes walk away was a modern Opera house which was linked with the main Budapest Opera house. We got tickets for the ballet there which was great and really cheap . We paid about £6 for medium priced seats but you could pay less. Altogether I would recommend this hotel and would stay there next time for sure. We went on a 3 hour guided bus tour of Budapest which I would recommend. We booked it before we went and were picked up from the hotel and got a great overview of the city and its history as well as a free boat trip. Leave plenty of time to get to the Parliament if you're doing a tour of that as the grounds are being upgraded and it's difficult to navigate your way around that area at the moment. For a slightly bizarre but very cheap eating experience in Buda look for a café opposite the back of the Hilton hotel near Mathias church. It says Self Service café on the door and upstairs is a large hall with a sort of canteen arrangement. We had an enormously filling meal there for 2 for less than 10 euros. It was very friendly and a bit odd but fantastic value! Buy a public transport pass from the front of the station but if you are 65+ transport is free if you are from an EU country. Just show your passport to verify date of birth. A lot of museums etc are 50% off for over 62s.

Room Tip: We had room with window facing a blank wall but it didn't bother us as we weren't overlook...

we arrived on the 26th, with a efficient and informative check-in with detailed guides of what to see and do. Hotel room was clean, modern and had all we needed for a 3 night stay, even though we were out all day every day exploring the city. Breakfast was more than colourful and plentiful lots of choices, and set us up for the day, after what i read on previous comments here i was a bit worried (plus you get what you pay for).
we were too tired to venture into the city at the end of our first night so the hotel receptionist recommended a restaurant too us which was just behind the hotel in front of the metro station and it was amazing. The staff were always very helpful and at hand whenever. WIFI connection was brilliant too.
Another comment i noticed a lot of was noise from reading previosu reviews, we were on floor 5 and heard nothing our sleep was never disturbed or interrupted so please dont be put off by these comments.
The hotel itself was a 5 minute walk to the metro station and from there it was a 5 minute journey into the city so we found this perfect, we bought a metro card for the day which cost £8 for 2 of us and could get on and off the stops all day long, lots of nice cafes and places to eat, plus you can walk to the Opera House from the city. Also really recommend the Gerabud cafe in the square of Dereck de Ferenc absolutley amazing coffee and sweet thigs a little more expensive but worth the experience.
All in all we had a wonderful trip and very pleasant and comfortable stay in the hotel would recommend the city and hotel to anyone
