It was a beautiful & nice hotel, the rooms are a bit small but modern. Nice mirrors! The receptionist was very helpful. But the dining hall is a bit small. I had a pleasant stay! There was a supermarket on the corner, kfc chinees etc in the direct area. Also the Arena shoppingmall was at 15min distance!

Staff were nice, room was very clean but tiny. We had a twin room and slept in the tiniest single beds I've ever seen. The glass door on the bathroom meant that if you went to the bathroom in the middle of the night you would wake up your roomie as soon as you turn the bathroom light on.
Breakfast was good and the hotel is situated 200yds from the station. We enjoyed our stay but did not choose to spend any extra time at the hotel than necessary.

The Royal Park Boutique is located in a small side street on the Eastern outskirts of Budapest close to the Budapest Keleti railway station which is the main international/intercity station in Budapest. It is also close to numerous bus and tram stops which can take you quickly to anywhere you want to go within the city.
The hotel is very new and stands out from the much older looking and somewhat drab buildings surrounding it.
Upon our arrival we were given the usual welcome and paperwork. We were also asked for a 50 euro deposit as apparently some 'young English boys' had damaged a room recently and so, presumably in case my wife and I did the same, the deposit was deemed necessary.
We did get this deposit back upon our departure.
Either of two small lifts could be used to take you to your room. The room itself was modern, aesthetically pleasant and spotlessly clean. I noticed that the partition between the double bed and the adjoining shower in the toilet area was glass with the bottom 2/3 frosted. Although this was not a problem for my wife and myself I did think that it could have posed a slight problem with certain family members (grandmothetr/granddaughter, etc) sharing a room.
The wardrobe and other units were adequate as was the small bedroom style fridge, security safe and air con.
One thing we did miss was the facility to make a cup of tea/coffee in the bedroom which was a nuisance as the bar closed at 11pm every night. Also there was a selection of biscuits, nuts and bars of chocolate available which made the absence of a beverage making facility even more peculiar.
Breakfast was available between 7 - 10am each morning in the dining area. It was the usual help yourself buffet style with a cosmopolitan range of breakfast food. The dining area itself kept up the modern look with plastic and tubular legged seats and tables. The tea/coffee was supplied via a small vending machine which tended to cause a queue and the resultant beverage was also tepid.
The reception staff were helpful and efficient re giving out travel and restaurant locations but never in a particularly friendly way. The young staff working at the small bar across the reception area were much more aimiable.
Everything considered I would rate the hotel as good value for money but only because I was able to get a three night stay and flight deal. I found out that the hotel normal rate is 180euro per night for a double room and I personally would not pay that amount to stay there.
It is also shown as a 4star hotel which it may be in Hungary but I have stayed in other 4star hotels abroad that were superior to the Royal Park boutique.

The hotel was fantastic. It was maybe not in the center of Budapest but It was very well placed for the Metro and all the buses to downtown. You just had to go around the corner.
And if you wanted to go to the city park where the zoo and Szechenyi Bath was, it was even better.

Breakfast was really good with fruit, warm sausage, eggs, pain perdu, good bread and many other things. Not the [--] you get at an best western or something like that.

The rooms where really stunning, especially the bath room which had a "walk-in" shower.
The double bed had two separated blankets. we were not used to that so that was a bit difficult.
