Stayed 3 nights. Good experience BUT there wasn't a kettle, tea or coffee in the room and the bar closed at 11pm. So, if you fancied a nightcap (be it alcohol or not), no chance!
Other than that, clean, modern, comfortable. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend it!!

Room Tip: We stayed on the third floor overlooking a quadrant in the middle of the building. No view but then...

Been staying 3 night at the Royal Park Hotel for a city break
Nice hotel, very clean, good quality matress in room, housekeeping everyday, ....

Not the best area of Budapest, but safe, and short distance to town centre, Heroes Square.

Staff helpfull, and good breakfast menu, will recommend this hotel for sure

Visited Budapest 31st Oct for 3 nights. Arrived before rooms were ready but within a few minutes a room was found next to lift on 5th floor and having read a review about noise was worried. No need wife stayed in room and I played in the lift and no noise. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bathroom very clean and very large shower. Food is what you expect on the continent and I thought there was plenty of choice from hot sausages and scrambled egg to cold meats ect. Plenty of drinks choice also. All in all could not find fault and would certainly recommend for a short stay. Tips get a airport shuttle taxi £22 return for 2. There is a stop on the city tour nearby which is useful to get to city centre. Tube station across the road very cheap £2 for two for 3 stops which puts you in the city centre.

The hotel is located near the metro and bus stops. It is also within walking distance to the Arena shopping mall. The hotel is very modern and the design of the bathroom overlooking the bedroom is indeed very clever! The neighbourhood is quite and safe. I would definetely stay here again.

So the bad is, it's not in a great area, but it's not as bad as some people on here have said. It's got good transport links and its a 20 min walk to the centre. The hotel is nice, the bar area is nice to sit and relax in and it is reasonably priced with the staff helpful. The rooms are quite small, nicely done out with flat screen tv, air conditioning and generally have decent facilities with a great shower. Breakfast was good, continental style.
There are no decent restaurants in the area, but the metro 2 is close and it's two stops into the middle of Budapest. We were on a city break and it worked well for us. I'd stay here again

Strengths: new and modern hotel. Well connected with metro and bus, 3 minutes walking from the metro station (Keleti pályaudvar - Red line) and several bus stops; free wi-fi; good value for money (56 € per night with breakfast).
Weaknesses: breakfast room too small (must wait to take a sit and have breakfast), poor reception service (asked us to pay upon arrival... at 2 am!), shabby surroundings, very basic accessories (e.g only soap dispenser in the bathroom).

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights during the Budapest Marathon weekend. We chose it because of the close proximity to Heroes Square where the race started. The hotel itself was newly renovated and well maintained however we were stroke by the surroundings which do not give a good first impression.
I would say that everything was fine except of the fact that the housekeepers came at 8:30 on Sunday morning, which in my opinion can be rather annoying. We told them that we need 15 min to leave which resulted in our beds being made between 5 and 6 pm...
The breakfast was rather a week point. There was a choice but I struggled with choosing something that looked appealing or healthy.
It was fine, but i would not recommend it to my family.

Room Tip: Add Eur 25 per night and you can have a hotel with a spa and great breakfast
