another trip to cafe intenzo and another great meal
this is the first time we have visited intenzo in the summer and we got to sit outside in the garden under a large tree
it was very very romantic and the ambiance was out of this world
8 of us had all we could manage to eat and the bill came to around £110 for 8 people including drinks and tips
chicken paprikash with potato dumplings is my favourite here

This restaurant has an attractive courtyard eating area and very good Hungarian food at reasonable prices. Since it was convenient to our hotel, we ate there two days in a row and enjoyed it each time. The waiter was personable and spoke English well, although most of the customers appeared to be "locals".

The food was delicious and the waiting staff were very friendly. We sat outside at the back of the restaurant and the atmosphere was very calm and relaxed. The food really did speak for itself and, if I had more time in Budapest, I would go back for a repeat visit.

This little restaurant is tucked away in a plaza. It actually is bigger than it seems, as it has a lovely outdoor courtyard. We stumbled on to it for lunch and were all pleasantly surprised. The building is old, charming and the decor delightful. The staff was very helpful. They all spoke English and had an English menu. Local fare, including delicious goulash soup. We only wanted a light lunch, although some of the meals coming out looked wonderful. We ordered a plate of various pickled items that were yummy. Each of us ordered an appetizer that we all enjoyed. It was a great eating experience, and very reasonably priced.

The service was awesome. Food was great. I had the chicken which was very good. My husband had the goose leg. He really enjoyed it. We also had the mussels for an appetizer, which were great. All recommended wines were really good, the Pinot noir was amazing.
