This was about 2 and a half hours, starting at the Main Information Center Downtown (free with the Budapest Card), in the middle of winter! But it was great, because rather than walking the whole distance, we took the metro and trams to some of the stops, which gave a fast intro to using the transportation system (also free with the Budapest card), and walked to other stops. The narrative and dialog was interesting and gave a different perspective. Laszlo did a great job.

We had a great "private" tour (we were only 2 on a snowy day...).
Brigit knows so much about Budapest. She knows the history, where are the hidden places and we saw places which we didn't expect.
When we consult with the hotel concierge where to go, we realized that we where already in all the places he recommended.
Thank you Brigit!

On a freezing cold January morning, I met Peter outside the main Budapest Market Hall for a tour of downtown Pest with a food and drink theme. I was surprised and delighted that the tour was run just for me alone- that was special! We browsed the market itself, with Peter treating me to the obligatiry Langos and displays of pickles, and I bought phenomenally tasty Hungarian salami sausage as a home-bound souvenir. We moved on to have a 3 course lunch in the Jewish Quarter and finally wine tasting in a purpose built (and warm enough!) cellar. A thoroughly good tour, heartily recommended and credit to an exceptionally accomodating guide. Thank you.

We have spent a very cold morning visiting Buda Castle. Luckily, our guide was the warmest you could find in Budapest: : Tamas!! He was so enthusiastic to make us forget the damn hell cold and to interest us with tons of stories about hungarian kings and people. You should never discovery such a things without Tamas. Thanks to him for his time devoted to the teaching hungarian 7 tribes and 896s stuff! Szent Istvan dues a lot to people like him nowadays...

After a recent trip to Budapest, for my sisters birthday, we bought the Budapest travel card and the walking tour was free with the card! We took part in the "Pest" walk, which took about 3 hours and part of it we took the tube! Although it was raining and quite cold, Tamas, our tour guide was great fun, informative and wanted us to know and find out as much as we could about Budapest! Highly recommend the walk with Tamas, his English is very good and he makes sure everyone sticks together.
