“Wonderful walking tours”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

We did 2 tours with this group while in Budapest:
-the tour that crosses over to Buda with Viki as our guide
-the shorter one staying on the Pest side with Kate as our guide

I would thoroughly recommend both of these tours. The guides were very knowledgeable and happy to take questions from the group. Like everyone else, I suggest doing them early in your stay in Budapest as the guides can give you many tips about where to go/ not to go.

Note: there are many walking tour operators in Budapest. If you know which one you want to do, make sure you don't get coerced into mistakenly joining another one! This nearly happened to us...

“Honest locals wonderful tours”
Reviewed June 14, 2013 via mobile

I took two tours:
1. The ghost tour
A unique nightly tour to the dark alleys of Budapest, with dark twist. Joyful and scary, a must try when you visit
2. Buda tour. A 2 hours walking through buda side. You can see many things how royal were living. Plus a summary of 1000 year of Hungarian history. This tour was for free!

“Free Tour - Essential Budapest Tour”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

We took the "Essential Budapest Tour" with Orsi (Ursala) as our guide. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about Hungarian history and gave a very thorough explanation of the sites in central Pest. She was able to answer our questions which went well beyond the basics, and gave what I felt was an unbiased account of Hungary's role in WWII and the events leading up to and following the 1956 revolution. I would highly recommend this tour to any visitor to Pest who has an interest in Hungarian history and culture.
