I chose to try this restaurant after reading reviews on the tripadvisor. The meal was lovely and the staff were friendly too. Try their special lemonade. It was just what I needed after a long day in the sun.

We placed a reservation to dine here after good reviews. Upon arriving the restaurant was half empty and we were dismayed to have been placed by the toilets. No worries, we were looking forward to our food. Starters were fantastic, however mains were a let down. We then ordered dessert to be told they had none of our desired dessert left and did not recommend an alternative. Service was slow. Price was reasonable.

Solid lunch spot. Per other reviews this place over-delivers for the price. I had the mushroom soup to start with dried veggie strips and that while a bit on the rich/creamy side was an earthy treat, they really know how to handle mushrooms in this town. My mustard chicken with potatoes was perfectly prepared and hearty, a bit on the plain side but not in a bad way - a definite thumbs up.

Commonly crowd of tourists, Ruben offer tipical plates of hungarian tradition (we went for that).
Excellent quality and lower prices (compared to similar offering near S.Stephen cathedral).
Since we have been very satisfied the first time, we went again two days later: again outstanding!
Reservation is highly recommended, you can book online or call (ask @ your hotel :-) )
last but not least ... they speak also italian :-)

Great food and service at reasonable prices. The interior design needs a rethink, but the atmos was good. I had the Hungarian steak, followed by a chocolate delight... Delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the Cabernet Sauvignon so I would avoid that. The Irish whiskey on the other hand was sexual. I would recommend this to anyone going to Budapest.
