“Excellent apartment hotel”
Reviewed October 12, 2011

This is a relly excellent apartment hotel. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment that was spacious and superbly decorated in a very contemporary style and is spotlessly clean. The apartments have all the facilities you could ask for and the complementary bottle of wine left for us on arrival was a lovely touch. The roof terrace is stunning and the spa is excellent. The breaskfast is very good with a number of choices on offer. The staff are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable of local facilities. The building itself is right in the heart of Budapest but is off of the main strip so you don't get any noise from the streets.

We would defnately recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we ever return to Budapest.

Base camp for a few of us visiting Budapest for the frst time. Great central location and superb facilities. Equally impressive was the friendly service, especially as we changed our booking just a day or so before as one party dropped out.

Our room contained kitchen, modern granite tiled bathroom, two bedrooms and all mod cons. Beautifully situated in Pest, knowledgeable and helpful staff, clean and well run. Stay if you can get a room.

Room Tip: Some rooms are markedly larger than others with only marginally greater cost. Specify which you want...

We only had a short stay of 1 night, but were impressed with the hotel's very modern decor, the amenities in the room, the location, and , of course, the quality of the sleep we had!
The hotel is located in a quiet pedestrian area, but is very central for spending your day out walking around all of Budapest's sights.Straight down the block to Andrassy and you're on your way towards the Chain Bridge and Castle area, where photo opportunities abound.
We booked taxis for going out in the evening and again to get to the train station, and the hotel arranged this so swiftly that the taxis were ready and waiting before we were out the door.
Breakfast is great-a good selection and all very clean and tidy.
Only comment would be to avoid the reception area during the busy checkout times, as it gets a bit cramped there, although the staff do their best to move people on quickly.

Room Tip: Not sure about other rooms but ours was fantastic, with L'Occitane amenities and great air-con.N...

We stayed here for two nights in September, and we were very pleased. The location is great on a pedestrian street, nice eating, hanging out options nearby. Room was lovely, we were on the top floor and had a very large room. As some have mentioned, the bathroom is small, but this is the norm, and it wasn't a problem. I do agree with the earlier comment about a so-so breakfast, I attribute it to the very small breakfast area--not enough room. (but a little dose of patience is always a good thing to have when traveling, so this needn't be too much of a bother) I think the manager's idea of adding more fruit would be a great addition. I would also recommend that weather permitting, the outside patio have tables ready for seating. Both mornings we were quite cramped and would have willingly sat outside if the tables were set up. Rooftop patio was great.

Parking is available nearby.

Tip: If you go to the street with the opera (sorry, can't remember it), turn left, go about 2-3 blocks, you'll come across a street full of restaurants with patios. We ate dinner here one night and loved the area. We were able to find the perfect restaurant to satisfy both our needs--a good people watching place for me, lots of variety in the menu, and a television broadcasting the US Open for my husband. Other restaurants had soccer matches, others had music, you can find what you want here. The restaurants on the right side seemed a little more upscale and laid back whereas the other side had a bit more of a sports-bar atmosphere.

A modern refurbished hotel in the cultural centre of Budapest around the opera. I liked this place very much, because of all this small bars and people arround. But the hotel is still quite. Also I liked that WiFi is for free. I had a big double room with 2 flat screens, a kitchen and a nice bath room.

Loved this place. The Opera House and Andrassy Avenue are two minutes away but it feels quite secluded at the same time as it sits on a pedestrian-only street lined with cafes, bars and shops. Rooms are very modern and spacious, the breakfast buffet includes champagne and there's even complimentary sangria in the evening!
