It's nothing fancy, but then again it doesn't pretend to be! you're slap bang in the centre of everything! a lovely 20 minute walk and you're at the Danube.... go the other way for 15 and you're at the baths, perfect!
Rooms are basic but clean, we were away from the lifts so peaceful as well. Room service didn't bother you if you were asleep(hungover teehee) and a lot of the time, even after leaving the room after lunch, the room would be made up on our return. Staff there are very friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help in whatever way they can. All in all, good place to stay!

This hotel is comfortable, clean and modern. Booked through a late room website, we got an excellent deal. It is very centrally located (5 minutes to the metro, the Opera house, and the main rail station to/from the airport) and 15 minutes from the Danube and the stunning parliament building.

Clearly catering to European/German speaking guests (the sign outside advertises rooms from €59 in German), it did exactly what it needed to for a city break. Free wi-fi was reliable and fast, which was useful for planning our trip back to the airport on public transport (an experience...!). I found the limited interactions with staff that they were friendly, but also a little annoying that they clearly had some targets to sell 'hop-on-hop-off bus tickets' and mentioned it three times when I checked in as well as their taxi service to/from the airport.

Budapest is a very interesting city, very different to Prague, and had too much to explore in 2 days/one night.

The hotel was modern, clean, equipped with a very comfortable, firm double bed and a powerful shower. There was also free wifi on offer throughout, which was vey useful for planning a day of sightseeing and locating a nearby cinema to see the latest Bond movie.
Rates were fantastic value for this typebof hotel, particulary given the central location near St Stephens. I's not a 5* property - no bath, no tea/coffee making facilities, no in room safe and no mini bar but there are plenty of places nearby to get a drink or grab a snack and it's no more than five minutes from stops for two subway lines.
Overall we had a lovely stay & I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for good value, location & a great nights sleep.

The hotel is perfectly situated, near center Budapest, the price is very good. The room is pretty plain, basic furniture. However, it offers all the comfort needed for your stay. We stayed there for 2 nights while a short trip to Budapest, am we were very happy with the choice, everything was well equipped, the staff was helpful and the location included wonderful restaurant with Hungarian specialties.

This is a normal hotel, with extremely good rates for what it is offered. Very good location, easy walking access to almost every area. Clean normal room, nice bed, nice and well equipped bathroom. Good choice for a short stay in Budapest. If you go, try the "Krizia" italian restaurant, 2 streets away- it's excellent.
Highly recommended for low budget travellers who want normal comfort and location.

I stayed in this hotel with a bunch of friends this last weekend, and would have no problem recommending it to others. While the rooms were a little basic (no safe, fridge, or tea/coffee making facilities), they were spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable with flat screen TVs and free WiFi which I found to be fairly fast with a strong signal. The bathrooms in the rooms were also modern, clean and with good showers.
The hotel bar was open 24 hours, which given the nature of our trip was a plus. The reception staff were very friendly, helpful, spoke excellent English and nothing was too much trouble for them. I mentioned that the rooms had no safes, however there were small lockers in a room behind the reception that were available for that purpose so it wasn't a problem for me.
As for location, it's down one of the many back streets in the centre of Pest just off Jokai Street and is within walking distance of the Danube, the tram/metro stops on Jokai Street, and many restaurants and bars in the area.
The only downsides I'd mention (other than the lack of expected facilities in the rooms) are that the drinks at the bar are a little expensive (especially the bottled water). However, this is relative to the shops in the area and are probably similar to hotels in the UK. For example, a bottle of water cost me around £1.50 in the hotel, but only around 35p in a nearby store. There was also no bottled water provided in the rooms, which I found unusual.
These quibbles aside though, I had an excellent stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

It is a modern hotel in an old neighbourhood, very centrally located & best value for money. Its location is close to two metro stations (Oktagon & Opera) Bus stop is at the corner of building block which can also take you to central train station for Eurail.
There are two small super stores and a big super market. Food outlets are near by. One indian restaurent and two thai massage parlors were near hotel.
The rooms were very comfortable and clean and modern. Bed was comfortable and sheets smelled fresh as did the pillows. The bathroom was quite nice. Wifi was working properly.
Hotel staff was helpful and speaks english well.
Best value for money......
