Location is perfect (near centrum). Very helpfull and polite staff. Clean rooms, nice beds. Breakfast was served in a cafe nearby and it was ok (you can choose between 4 alternatives). Staff in a cafe was also very nice and polite. Don´t let the entrance fool you: hotel is very modern, clean and peaceful and the staff is perfect! High recommendations!

Room Tip: If you can choose, take room 1 or 2! There is jacuzzi and in room 2 there´s minikitchen...

Right in the city centre, walking distance to shopping street and river Donau, near two metro lines. Large, clean room with comfortable bed and air-condition (felt like a must in high summer heat!). Very friendly and helpful staff. Complementary tea and coffee in the lobby. Previous guests on this site complained of a dark entrance. I believe this has been taken care of since I in the evening was greeted by a very atmospheric star sky (see picture).

Breakfast is served at a nearby café and cannot be recommended unless you're ok with a minimal and unhealthy one. My "yoghurt, müsli and fruit" consisted of fresh fruit, some of which were starting to go bad, and the müsli were sugar puffs and crunchy (i.e. cookie crumbs)! To this only tea and juice, no bread, egg or nothing. I asked for at least extra toast and got some dry toasts but no butter or ham/cheese/marmelade. Needless to say I cancelled breakfast the second day. There's a café across the street with better options for about the same price. Also missed a mini bar/fridge to store drinks in this hot weather. Because of the size of the room the TV on the far wall ought to be larger to enable watching from bed.

Anyway, for location and price I could live with these downsides. I'll return!

Room Tip: I asked for a room higher up, but it was unnecessary since the hotel is on the 3rd of 4 floors.

This hotel hosts friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous rooms with 12 foot ceilings, a central location convenient for walking anywhere, a nice welcome bottle of hungarian wine in the room, en-suite rooms, quiet rooms despite its being in the urban hubbub, coffee, tea and cookies in their reception area and most of all, great prices on rooms. I'm a traveller who hunts for great places at low prices. While it is not a four star hotel with pool and all those amenities, you pay a fraction of the price and get a quality place to stay, plus the warmth of enthusiastic staff in a small hotel. Highly recommended. Thebuilding's elevator might be off-putting but you won't be sleeping there!!!

Room Tip: Room 6 was quiet.

This is a very unusual hotel in that the street appearance, entrance, elevator all look very grungy and dodgy with graffiti, grime and even loose garbage. But once you go up and get off the elevator it is a very immaculate, modern, spacious hotel. It is in an absolutely fantastic central location just steps from the main square and well worth staying at despite the slummy external appearance.

We stayed 3 days in Budapest at this hotel in June 2013. It was a great place to stay. Very central & very safe. Both these things are important to us as we are mature age travellers. It was so easy to link up with our forward train travel, & eating & shopping were at our fingertips. We found the hotel exceptionally clean & tidy, & the staff were very helpful. One other important aspect for us was that the hotel has AIRCONDITIONED. . Wonderful, as it was quite hot during our stay. We would stay here again ourselves, & will reccomend to anyone that we find out about that will be in that city.

Room Tip: Our room looked over the courtyard & we found that very quiet.

I stayed with my friend for 3 nights in July (14th - 17th) and it was fantastic. Spacious, clean and well- equipped. The location is brilliant and the staff are very friendly. Great air conditioning and very quiet. The breakfast at the nearby cafe is only 3€ and very good value. It is on the third floor and the interior of the hotel is much nicer than the stairwell although there is a great lift and lovely fairly lights in the building ground floor. Stay here :-)
