we stayed in this hotel over a long weekend in November 2013 with friends.

We found the hotel to be very clean and in good condition. The bedrooms were spacious with air conditioning. The breakfast buffet had a fantastic choice although getting the toast done was a bit slow with only two appliances.

We found the hotel staff very polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Everybody spoke perfect English as did most of the people in the city The hotel was close to most attractions with the Danube about 10 minute walk away.

Its a great hotel for any weekend trip as you are only sleeping and having breakfast other than that you would be out exploring a wonderful city.

Room Tip: All he rooms appear to be the same style and size from our experience so no advantage

We spent five nights at this hotel in November, while the stay was not bad, it would not be a hotel that I would recommend. I am sure there must be better places to stay in Budapest.

While the location is central enough, and we were able to do a lot on foot, if you don't mind walking. The street where the hotel is situated is actually very dismal, with half the shops closed down and barricaded with wood. The street gave me the creeps.

The hotel in itself was fine. However, the hallways resembled a student dorm and were much in need of a paint job. The room was nice, yet showing visible signs of wear in tear, chips in the doors, dents in cabinets, etc.

Avoid the breakfast, it was actually awful. We were very glad we didn't opt for this. There is a small bakery about 150m from the hotel (exit and turn left), and we enjoyed their pastries and yoghurts in the morning.

The bar/lounge is lacking any atmosphere at all, and considering we were the only table when we went there, the service was very bad and inattentive.

The reception staff helped with basic information about the city, but certainly never went above and beyond to try to assist us or help with planning our stay. In fact, at one point we had to change rooms due to a reservation change on our end, and they expected us to check out in the morning and be without a room for the whole day to check in later that night. We had to argue with them to keep our room until a new one was ready....this seems rather ridiculous and is bad service.

The wi-fi required you to re login every time you stepped away from your device for longer than two minutes. This was really quite annoying and a waste of time.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

We travel every year with friends for a weekend city break, this year we chose Budapest and the Eurostars Hotel. Reception staff were excellent, check in was very quick with Attila recommending local restaurants for us. Carlotta helped with maps, directions & general info, which was very useful. Breakfast was ok with hot and cold options. Rooms were clean and spacious, just be careful getting out of the bath after showering as it is quite a tight squeeze. Overall I would definitely recommend for a short break.

No real charm at this hotel, but it is modern, efficient, clean and perfectly located in the center of busy Pest. Suitable both for tourism and business. large breakfast buffet which features the classic international cereal and cooked dishes. Rooms on the inner courtyard are the quietest.

We stayed in Eurostars Budapest Center for 3 days and 2 nights at the end of October. We had an awesome stay! This hotel is awesome! It is fully renovated and the facilities and amenities are very modern and impeccable. The hotel staff is great! Specially the receptionist. They provide excellent customer service. Check-in and check-out is a breeze and they are always friendly, no matter how busy they are. We stayed in a double room and the bed was super comfortable. I agree with other reviews that the shower is funny, but overall, the room is excellent and completely new, you get great space and no thin noise, which for us, light sleepers, is a must in a hotel. We had breakfast during our stay and the buffet has great selection. The best thing of the hotel (outside of the hotel itself) is the location. Is conveniently located close to the metro station, so you can either walk to the Danube or use the metro to go to the tourist attractions in both Buda and Pest. If we are ever back in Budapest, we will make sure we stay at this hotel. It is absolutely awesome!
