Anita, our guide was excellent! Her knowledge of the history, architecture, art and culture of the city was fantastic. No guidebook could have surpassed what we learned on the tour and even though it was unseasonably snowy, it did not put a dampner on the walk. My favourite parts were the journey on the subway, even though the station announcements reminded me of a bad 90s electronic game, Heroes Square, the People's Park, Szechenyi Baths, Fishermens' Bastion and not forgetting the halfway stop at the strudel shop. I so want to go back to Budapest as four days were just not enough!
