Our hotell (Le Meriden) recomanded this restaurant. We told them we had to try Hungarian "Gullash soup". The restaurang was almoust empty, with only 6 persons. We got a cosy table for 2, and orderd Hungarian beer and Gullash soup. The food was great, and cheap. There was a band playing there, with violin. They played at our table, and I almoust cryed because it was so amazing. This is worth a visit.

We went here by accident as the place we wanted to go was booked up. However, we enjoyed the food and the music so much.

The fish soup was very delicious. We also ordered the grill spareribs and the veggie pasta. Both were delicious. The pasta wad a bit salty though. The waitress was so friendly and considerate. the band played all well known music live and we were totally amused while dining...

It's s bit pricey, but worth it.

Good service and fantastic food along with good wine recommendations and cheerful music. Enjoy a glance to the roaring turn of the century in the awesome ambiente. I recommend the degustation menu for 10000 huf, which equals 35 euros. Five courses that will soothe and caress your taste buds. Also try the Hungarian rose sparkling wine which fits the menu like a tailored suit.

We went here as a group of 8.

The overall feel of the restaurant was really nice, traditional Hungarian with live musicians. The menu offered a wide selection of food, with good descriptions in English.

The food was nice, but unfortunately was let down by poor service, after ordering we waited over an hour for our food with no explanation or apology.

Things didn't improve when we received the bill as there were a number of items added that we hadn't had e.g. bottles of water and side dishes. On trying to explain this to the staff their English seemed to disappear, in the end we gave up and paid as it was getting late.

Unfortunately what could have been a pleasant evening was soured by the service.
