WE stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, i really can not stress how well located the hotel is. the entrance to blaha luzja ter metro is out side the entrance to the hotel. across the road from the hotel are stops for trams 4 and 6 which go direct to castle district, margtets island and downtown.

The staff were unbelievably helpfull and spoke good english. the hotel is beautiful and private inside. The rooms are basic though and the maid service is on request but all had air conditioning and are newly moderised. the pressure on the showers is unbelievable (in a good way) and the water was very hot. I would not recommnend having the breakfast which is 4 euros per person. the breakfast is served at the mint cafe which is a lovely cafe and only 5 mins walk but the breakfast was extremely basic with musli and bread rolls and jam and coffee...i realise that hungarians arent big on breakfast but i think the 4 euros can get a lot more at a different cafe or even mcdonalds.

The area felt safe at night and dispite what may or may not have been read i felt safe. there were many coffee shops and restaurants near to it. there are convienece stores and cafes which are open pretty much 24 hours.

If you plan to stay at this hotel for then dont expect the ritz, dont expect glamour but do expect friendly atmosphere and good old fashioned service and comfortable digs at a great price. there is also a gorgeous internal courtyard which is peacefull and has seating
