I've been traveling all over Europe and this is one of the best places I've stayed. It seriously felt like home, I could have stayed there for a few more days and just hung out with the cool staff and guests and enjoyed the amazing Budapest culture. But seriously, this place is great

This hostel has a really homely feel about it. It has a TV with a huge selection of DVDs to pick from which was great to chill out with a few of the other travellers. It is in a very good location and the staff are very friendly. Only downside was pressure from the pub crawl organisers who hang out in the common room for too long trying to sign people up- this was quite frustrating.

Besides being very well located, the hostel is extremely cozy! They even have a playstation 3! The staff was very friendly (specially the girl at the reception)! The rooms are big, you can control the intensity of the light, the beds are good and the bathrooms are very clean! Really easy to spend time inside the hostel!

We booked four beds in an 8-bed room, with a shared bath, and it was an overall positive and pleasant experience. Everything was very clean and the other people there were very nice and exceptionally social. The hostel itself is quite small, which is nice. The possibility to borrow a lock and a towel at no charge was very convenient. The staff really recommend only one restaurant but are super friendly and willing to help. The only thing that was annoying was that shoes had to be taken off at the door upon arrival, but it keeps the place clean.

This hostel is great! It was very clean, the price was right, and the bathroom, kitchen and lounge room were big and clean and felt like the one you might have at home. The hostel is well located too, with a metro station close by and the tram stopping right out the front. I recommend going on the pub tour :)

to start with, when my bf and i arrived at 7am there was someone awaiting our arrival. the directions they gave to get there were awesome and we got there no worries. after a 12 hour bus ride the lady at the desk i think its szofie let us put our bags down in the common room and made us feel welcome to set up camp on the lounge until our room was ready for us :) thats just to start with
the rooms:
-very spacious
- lockers available
-reading lights and little shelf next to each bed
-enough powerpoints for everyones stuff
-beds so cool with doona covers that made you feel like you were a kid again :)
the kitchen:
-normal sized hotplates
-kettle
-microwave
sooooo many utensils and also free spices and glad wraps and foils etc
-2 tables with an abundance of chairs
-2 comfy couches
-bigg dice cusions
-bean bags

the bathrooms
-super clean, no mould, good pressure from taps (although just sometimes the temp of the water will fluctuate)

the reason i have put so much effort into this review though is that the staff were all soo friendly and welcoming and honestly made you feel so at home. also we had a package sent to the hostel that arrived half an hour after we'd left for prague, now it was medication that we needed super badly so they then went to the trouble of getting it express posted for us to prague so it would get to us before we left prague. they didnt even worry about the money it cost to post it, honestly all they cared about was us getting the stuff. AND FOR THIS WE WILL FOREVER BE THANKFUL FOR, there are not too many places out there that would do this and not expect to be paid back.
if your looking for a hostel with a homely vibe, maybe not so much partying with massive group vibe (thats not to say they dont take you to organised great pubcrawls) then please do not think twice about this place, it WILL NOT DISAPPOINT :)
xx

Great central hostel one of the best I had stayed in Europe. The room was huge, clean, and safe. I have never been so sure to keep my belongings in a dorm. The get your tips for tours and sightseeing in Budapest if you like that. It's no breakfast include the prices but you have Spars supermarket just a few minutes from there. You got some of Budapest famous bars just a few blocks from there and they organize pub crawls.
