Great hotel in a good location for sightseeing. Complimentary breakfast was fabulous. The junior suite with jacuzzi bath was great. The Kaltenberg was great for eating & beer, just down the road at Kinizsi utca 30-36

A great base for a weekend break.

From before we arrived to when we were leaving, this hotel could not have been more professional, helpful and efficient. It is a little out of the shopping district but this is a welcome rest from the hustle and bustle.

It is quite breathtaking when you first walk in through the old doors from the church courtyard outside.

The reception staff booked both our tickets for the Thermal baths and the Giraffe Tour Bus, recommended restaurants (both were amazing) and organised our taxi shuttle to and from the airport.

As others have mentioned, the breakfast is great. The coffee bar is relaxing and the general ambience is peaceful.

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would without hesitation stay again.

We stayed at this hotel on 21 and 22 November - from arriving to sent off everything was perfect - we enjoyed the breakfast and the fact that we could do our own juice. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the nearest underground station and close to a couple of nice restaurants which the reception advised us about. After we checked out they kept our bags for us and when we resturned we could use the lounge for snacks, water or tea again. This was quite helpful.

This was a wonderful hotel with great service and superb breakfast! The hotel has an old/new world charm! Simply beautiful! It is located on the Pest side of Budapest and the neighborhood was a bit sketchy and non appealing, but it was quiet and we didnt encounter any problems.

Room Tip: Make sure that your room is not close to the church (as the church bell rings)

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would certainly recommend it again. from the minute we walked in the gentleman at the front desk upgraded us to a suite and I can't tell you how beautiful the room was. High ceilings, free wifi, clean bathrooms & rooms...wow! The breakfast was delicious and they even served sparkling wine so you could make a mimosa, bellini or whatever kind of morning concoction you fancy from their juice bar. The staff was so helpful with restaurant recommendations, reservations, taxis, arranging anything and everything we wanted. We had a wonderful time and the Hotel Palazzo Zichy and the staff was a huge part of that. The location was ok but only because I like to be in the middle of all the action. If you prefer a quiet location then this is perfect for you. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to my friends. We loved the Hotel Palazzo Zichy!!!

Very nice hotel in a good location, We found the restaurant very busy at breakfast time but there was never a shortage of food or choice .Complimentary fruit, tea and coffee were excellent . Very good wi-fi connection throughout and staff were very helpful. The only negative we had was inconsiderate neighbours which we could hear through the walls. Fantastic hotel and highly recommend.

Located within walking distance of a major traffic junction connecting you to most of the city sights, it is still quite away from the city noise to allow for a decent rest. The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast buffet rich and the service level excellent.

The gym is a bit lacking, but the saunas make up for it decently. The only setback is the lack of appropriate hotel parking (the hotel has its parking, but the approach is so narrow you have to pull in your side rear view mirrors to fit), but there are public garages in the vicinity at affordable prices.

Would heartily recommend.
