We have just come back from 4 nights at the Palazzo Zichy. We booked after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. Tea, coffee and mineral water freely available in the lounge. Very good buffet breakfast and all areas are spotlessly clean. The staff are young, enthusiastic and very helpful. It is a very stylish hotel and excellent value for money.

It is not in the centre of town and is, in our opinion, all the better for it. You don't pay the higher prices for either the accommodation or eating out locally. There are metro stations reasonably close by although we walked almost everywhere. There are plenty of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk. We didn't have a bad meal in any of them and the prices were very reasonable.

Our hotel chose was based on the trip advisor reviews. It did not disappoint us. We were greeted with very pleasant, knowledgeable staff. We asked for extra pillows and hand soap. They arrived before we even got to our room.
Our superior room was clean, spacious, plenty of room for our clothes. The bathroom large and well equipped.
We found the hotel to be within walking distance to most of the tourist attractions and metro was just around the corner should you need it. The hotel is in a quiet area with plenty of restaurants around.
Breakfast is of good quality, many chooses and constantly replenished.
What hotel would go out of their way and formally advise all their tenants the night before that the water will be shut off for a short time the next day.
We were very impressed with our 6-night stay in September and would go back tomorrow. The entire staff was exceptional.

Stayed for a short break in this hotel, chose it according tripadvisor reviews and the absolutely fair value!

Booked a junior suite, which was very spacious, stylish interior, had even a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! Room was faced to courtyard, so it was absolutely quiet.

The welcome at reception was very warm and friendly, the free coffee and tea service in the lounge very good idea and perfect for a short break after a long discovery day in Budapest.

Breakfast was equivalent to 4-star-standard, located in the very bright atrium. The space is a bit sparely so it was quite crowded at the buffets.

The location is very especially: just about 5 minutes walk to metro stations, directly at a small nice square. On the way from the hotel to Kalvin square (metro), there are some sidewalk and student cafés (at two more pedestrian squares), ideal for a informal break with a cold hungarian beer (for absolutely fair hungarian prices) :-)

This hotel is designed beautifully---- giving one an eclectic aesthetic. The staff is friendly and professional. My only criticism is that the lighting (for women) is inadequate...not good for applying makeup!
