just a few over priced stalls selling the usual stuff, nothing special, some hand made stuff, jewellery etc
Great opportunity to see a local market, what is great is that they don’t push or hit you with a hard sell.
It is an arts and crafts market in the main. I think only running on a Sunday, it doesn’t get fully up and running till 10:30-11ish. There are a few coffee and food places as well.
The market operates in one straight line between two streets so figure out where you want to be afterwards or where you are best to approach it from.
My advice, buy a coffee from The Coffee Stand on Dob Street then walk about 10m further up and enter there.
this market, which is busiest on the weekends but is open many days a week, consists of a series of stands along a corridor between buildings. The majority of stalls sell locally handcrafted items although a few seem to be mass produced items. A good place to spend 20 minutes shopping or window-shopping for small items.
Very disapointed to visit this place. There was nothing to buy here or nothing for us. There is a lot of cafe and that all. More a place for local then tourist
If you are looking for Hungarian handmade products or souvenirs, this is the best place to choose something! You can find many treasures, like antique stamps, paintings, clothes, jewelry, gifts and more. You can also meet and negotiate with the artisans, it's the real bazaar experience! :)
wonerful handmade and vintage goodies, perfect place to find unique gifts and fridge magnets! it is really worth a visit, a hidden treasure!
