I was fortunate enough to spend a great afternoon with Odea. She was more like a friend than a tour guide. She showed me around District 7. She showed me different ruin bars, vintage thrift shops and of course the street arts in Budapest. She was very knowledgeable of the Jewish quarter and was very patient to explain and explore the area with me. We also got a couple of beers at different bars. I had such a lovely time on this tour, she showed me some easy to miss pieces around the area which was quite fascinating. If you enjoy street art and love to walk around, this is the tour for you.

We booked Born Under The Red Star with Viator. Our Hungarian local guide was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. It was a 3 hr tour and there’s a bit of walking involved but she kept us interested the entire time. We learned quite a bit about history of Budapest/Hungary. Our tour guide took us to retro bar for drinks midway and showed us restaurants with authentic Hungarian food. We highly recommend this tour for those interested in history!!!

Excellent, cortious Driver ( Robert!) - although it was quite a bit f a walk to find the actual location of the pick up - with 2 kids and loads of lagguage at 1 am in the morning - the minibus was on time, the travel was comfortable, and the driver was most pleasant and helpful....

Stopped here for a few drinks. Good prices and excellent atmosphere. Totally different place. Toilets not clean though.

My wife and I spent a wonderful Sunday touring Budapest with Kinga. This was one of the best private tours we have ever taken. Kinga was very pleasant and incredibly knowledgable. She had previously worked in the visitor's center at the Hungarian Parliament. The seven hours with her flew by.

We had taken the Budapest Urban Walks Budapest Tour (see separate review) two days before. The first thing that Kinga did was sit down with us in the hotel lobby with a map to understand what we had already seen and to plan out our day.

The pace of the tour was relaxed and Kinga made us feel very comfortable. We felt like we were walking around town with a long-time friend. We were provided with a mass transit day pass and we made use of buses, trams, and the metro.

Our tour was very inclusive and included Heroes Square, Liberty Square, the Vajdahunyad Castle, the Szechenyi Baths, and St Stephen's Basilica on the Pest Side and Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church on the Buda side.

Kinga was very accommodating. We requested that we have Langos for lunch and she made reservations at a place on Andrassy Avenue which was great. I appreciated her patience while I took a myriad of pictures.

Later we were offered coffee and pastries at the Cafe de Paris.

We also watched strudel being made at the Strudel Houset where Kinga ordered a delicious sample of of strudels.

Our tour was very memorable and a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Budapest Urban Walks and send a big thank you to Kinga.
