For a budget traveler this hotel it's just amazing. The suite we stayed in is irreproachable with all the great amenities you could wish for, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, mini stove, dishes...

The living room is equipped with an extendable sofa from were you can watch in full comfort the 32 inch flat screen TV. The bedroom featuring a King bed, an office table full cable internet access it is all you need...

Customer Service is at its highest level - friendly English speaking staff, awesome Hungarian specialty food delivered from the downstairs Belvedere Garden Restaurant a terrific view from the large balcony of the Hungarian Parliament tower, and all the hills surrounding the historical district of Budapest.

The hotel is at 10-15 minutes walking distance from the main historical places -The Fishermen's bastion, the St. Matthew's Church and many more...

I would recommend this hotel to anybody traveling on a budget.

We found this hotel by mistake through a taxi driver but we are so happy we did, for our next year trip we do not need to search anymore for accommodations in Budapest, we've found the perfect place.

Hotel was very good - no real issues (apart from an old sock behind the curtains). Room smart and spacious. Amenities good. Food fair to decent too (not that much choice at brekkie but you wont go hungry!). On the Buda side which is handy for castle district and personally my fave side - go there and try yourself.

Room Tip: we had room 305 - towards the back so no traffic noise

We have stayed in this hotel with my husband 3 times, everytime the stay was perfect.
Modern and design rooms, perfectly clean, nice bathroom. Stuff is just great! Cook at the restaurant is real chef-)What I like most of all is the spa on the top floor, where you have very calm place to relax (not so much people in the hotel) all the time we have been alone in the sauna and pool, you can swim naked without problem, with the nice view of Budapest from the top floor. I would definitely stop at this hotel the next time I visit the city.
I forgot, they have very good parking garage under hotel with the security!Enjoy your stay in Budapest.

The location of the hotel is very good and only a few minutes walk from moscow square, where there are plenty of shopping and food outlets including a fantastic bakers. Also in the square are the trams and buses, which are great. numerous and always on time, we used them every day and night. The castle.palace/church/underground hospital is a short bus ride from the hotel. The parliament(if you can get in) is just a short tram ride across the bridge.
So back to the hotel, our room was situated at the front of the hotel and was a superior double. The room was spacious and has a plasma/lcd television on the wall, although there was only one english speaking channel, which wasnt a big problem. The bathroom was amazing, really didnt expect such a modern style. The room was also very clean, with maid service every morning. I have to warn you, they arrive early!
The shutters at the front of the hotel automatically close during the afternoon, which helps keep the room front becoming overly hot.
Facilities in the hotel include a sauna/steam room and pool. These were very quiet and very nice. There was also a fantastic balcony that looked over the roof tops giving a beautiful view of the city.
At breakfast time, there was plenty of choice, from hot cooked foods to pastries and cereal, very impressive.
We ate once at the restaurant in the evening are again thought our food was very good and very inexpensive.

Our stay was around £42 per day including breakfast. Amazing value for money considering the quality of the hotel and decent service

Room Tip: May a room at the back would be a little better, so to avoid the sound of the numerous ambulances th...

we stayed for 3 nights in December, the guys on reception were very helpful especially when i had a problem and needed to return to the dental clinic making the necessary phone calls etc. Room was a good size, very clean and the bathroom was exceptional. Breakfast was average but there was always something to take your fancy. The only down side was we were at the front of the building next to the road, it seemed to be the main highway for emergency vehilces (ambulances) who seem to use their wailers whatever time of night and whatever the road/traffic conditions Overall for the money this hotel is excellent value. We will be coming back again in March

Room Tip: Rooms at the back would be quieter

We read the mixed reviews on tripadvisor about this hotel, but decided to take the chance and book it anyway.

The hotel location is within walking distance to Castle Hill, the Danube and the city centre. If you don't like to walk it is a little far away, but if you don't mind walking then it's not a problem.

The room was great, it was a good size (not too small but not huge). The bed was very comfortable, english tv channels available (only a few), great shower and bathroom. Breakfast was standard, not amazing but not terrible.

The front-desk guys were very, very helpful. They recommended places to eat nearby and helped us organise a lovely dinner at one of the classy hotels on Castle Hill, they hooked us up with maps, directions and taxis with no problems! He even gave us a packed breakfast to go for our 4am flight.

All in all, we would recommend the hotel and we would stay there again! It was quiet, clean and affordable - what more can you ask for really??

Oh and the best part of the whole place is the pool area on the top floor - don't miss out on it! great views!!
