I've spent the last six months in Budapest and Fruccola soon became my favorite spot to pick up lunch. The possibility of DIY salad and the well-marked menu system makes it a breeze to fit it into the lifestyle of anyone with special dietary needs.
As normally I would get into the routine of asking the same salad over and over again it was great that they always had a salad of the week so I could try out lot of stuff I would otherwise never put into a salad.
There are a few things to keep in mind though: the place is packed around lunchtime on weekdays and you might have to wait in line for 15 minutes before you order. The staff is indeed a bit stressed out from time to time so don't take it personally if they are a bit irritated or seem mean. I'm sure they don't mean it....
