Four of us tried Onyx's set lunch menu with glasses of their recommended wines. We all agreed that the food was delicious from an imaginative and interesting menu. The dessert may well have been the star of the show. It was all beautifully prepared, presented and served, and we found the service from the staff was beyond reproach.
The restaurant itself is small, and opulently decorated. All in all, it made for a nice relaxing lunch; certainly up to Michelin star standards. Expensive? Yes, but not outrageously so. Actually, we thought it was pretty good value for money.
