We arrived and csaba showed us around and then left us to it. Apartment is spacious even though there were 12 of us and had a proper kitchen with fridge and microwave. Beer downstairs in csabas bar was good and cheap and they sell food til late, like 3am. Also very helpful with where to go and ordering taxis for us. All in all a great stay and considering we acccidently left the door open most nights it was fine so the location is very secure

The room had two large bedrooms, one double bedroom, kitchen, two toilets and two showers. Perfect for what we needed it for, there were 12 of us and the room fitted us great. The bar downstairs was small and had great character with a few tables and chairs outside. The owner Csaba was very friendly and helpful with all requests we had. Thank you for a great stay.

While Bed and Beers is pretty basic it is ideal for a group of friends who don't mind sharing and who want to visit the lovely city of Budapest on a budget. The apartment we stayed in had all the necessities and is run by the owner of the bar in the cellar of its building. The host is very helpful, welcoming and full of information. He speaks excellent English and French. The area is below the Citadel and is in easy reach of all parts of the city and is well served by supermarkets, cafes, restuarants and bars. I would espacially recomend the Deryne Bistro for a taste of old Budapest.
