“Understaffed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2012

When we saw the review on trip advisor we knew it would be slow... But never this slow. After we finished the starter (which was good) it took an hour to receive our main courses. When the pasta came it wasnt even cooked, when i asked to return it she told me it was aldente because it was an italian restaurant... I have been to MANY italian places in all price ranges and never had uncooked pasta. We asked for water twice and never got it. My girlfriend works as a waitress and felt sorry for the staff, because it was clearly well understaffed. AVOID!

“Amazing pizza!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012 via mobile

Not often on a city break we'll go back to the same place twice but this has the best pizza I've ever had (any of the ones named after Italian world cup winners are cracking) and its cheap, even considering how cheap the rest of Budapest is anyway. Delayed our table one night so served us prosecoo under the awning whilst thunderstorms rumbled overhead. Really perfect.

“decent italian trattoria type of place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2012

we went here last friday night, and after finding it (tripadvisor's app had us on the wrong side of andrassy) we were welcomed in
this place feels very authentically italian, lots of homage to juventus and turin
we then sat down were given menus and waited....................
and waited......................
and waited some more
finally after 25 minutes of just the guy on the organ singing the waitress came and took our orders
to expedite things i asked for my starter to be brought out with the pizza
I was quite wound up by this point, but suddenly things changed
drinks arrived and very soon after the food
the food was very very good
proper thin crust pizza
seafood salad and mixed salads were spot on,as was the wine
we even ordered more pizza to take away
overall i would say it isnt cheap by budapest standards but it is very high quality
and it was busy
we would go there again
