Nice familly hotel and good prices.Location is just near the city center so you can walk to town. Swiming pool in small but clean and stuff is very helpful. Food is also good...keep on good work family Matjaž.

Upon arrival at this hotel, we had to take a steep stairs to reception. Our room was on the second floor. However, there is a lift but on the strange location of the “hotel”. Decor of the rooms are from 50 to 90s what they found around now is in. The bathroom though did look quite modern and had some very bad shower with radio and jets etc. which we thought wasn’t quite cool.

Now my last final negative point is in relation to the location. Although it has been referred to as a 15 minute walk into Portoroz this may be true when you were going down hill to the town but on the way back it was a very steep incline including numerous steps which in the heat was certainly not a pleasant walk. To add to this there were no street lights and it was very dark and difficult to see your way. The breakfast was a less standard continental breakfast in a shabby room. The price for this is very, very high for the standard position and services. I was there last week beginning of November totally out of season. Not recommended at all.

The hotel staff were excellent. They were excited to help us with whatever we required.
Breakfast was included and it was very good with everything a person requires to start there day off.
Previous reviewers complained that the hotel did not have a elevator, well that has been solved as the Tomi has now installed a elevator.
The pool area is wonderful with many loungers around the pool. The water in the pool is a little cool but for us it was not an issue.
The rooms were the typical small European size but the balcony and views more than made up for it. The shower was like a spa. It must have had 24 different shower nozzles.
The location is about a 10 minute walk down to the beach. The walk however is all downhill which of course means uphill when you return to the hotel.
They have electric assist bicycles for guest to use for free. We used them to go to Piran for the day. They worked excellent and made the hills a non issue.

Room Tip: They nice and cold Lasko beer and will deliver it to you around the pool

The hotel Tomi is in my opinion, one of the best three star ranking hotel . The food is exelent, the staff is welcoming, etc. The beach is not far away, but water was cold and there were jellyfish. We went there to swim in the pool. The pool is little bit small, but we spent lot of time on it.

We first decided to book at this hotel because of the good price and the good reviews. We were not disappointed.
The place is calm and not far from the city centre by walk (10 min maximum).
The size of the room was ok even if not too big. Be aware that the A/C may be a little bit inefficient. We had to open the windows instead of having the A/C working.
Since the price of an accommodation in Portoroz may be expensive, we do recommend this place.

Room Tip: A/C could have issue. Therapeutic shower is a ++ !

A very friendly family-run hotel, all the staff were very welcoming, especially towards our two young children. The room, although not particularly large, was comfortable with a balcony and the staff ensured that we had adequate bedding for the children. The pool was great, and the 10-minute walk to the centre is fine, although a bit of a climb back in hot weather! The food in the restaurant is to be highly recommended. If I had to be critical, I would have expected better quality soap/shampoo as they seemed to be extremely watery, although this is only a very minor complaint - everything else was of a very high standard and I would thoroughly recommended here as a short-stay destination, and a welcome change from the larger properties with less character in Portoroz
