I stayed with nine school children and three other teachers. The staff were accommodating of our need for early breakfasts and the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and in working order.

This you hostel is located in a hotel. The service at the reception is terrible and the ladies that where there didn't speak any English. The hostel doesn't have WiFi, but internet via cable. If you don't have your own you have to pay 6€. The hostel shares reception with the hotel and you have to take the lift and then some stairs to get to your hostel room. The single rooms are very small and you can't really fit a large suitcase in the room open. I had to open mine in the hallway.

Room Tip: take your own internet cable (RJ45) with you to save

It is not a hotel, it's a hostel. Tripadviser should change it. In a title on Tripadviser stand that this is a hotel, and just in a third paragraph there is a mention of a hostel.
Uni hostel and Orel Hotel share one entrance !!! The pictures on Tripadviser is for a Orel reception and entrance. Uni hotel is another building. On the way to Your room, You should have to go through Orel hotel (which is much better), and then to come through cold passage (without heating) just to come to another building to Your room. We had to walk up and down on many stairs to come to our room with all the luggage. Once we got to the room, it was a shock. It was a few years ago since the last time windows was opened. Moisture smell so hard, and everything felt on mites.
Take a time and see our pictures.
We immediately went down and ask to leave the hotel - hostel, but was told that we must to pay for one night, even we have been in the room for a 3 minutes, and I am allergic to mites.
Walls are dirty, carpet are dirty, bathroom full of mold on the tiles and bathtub. Furniture old, old, old. The linen and sheets was clean, but mattress - terrible.
There was no WiFi, so we need cable to connect to the internet.
TV so small, so You can not see anything from the bed.
All in all, we spent one night there, payed 66 euros, without breakfast, and then go to City hotel witch You can not compare, for 20 euros more, with breakfast and full 4 stars (WiFi 92Mb/s).

Room Tip: Chose a room in another hotel !

This 2 stars hotel has a very central location, so this is good. The hotel itself is strange, because there are 2 hotels in the same building, you have to take the elevator to get to another hotel(a 3* one) and then go on the corridors and go again..to arrive to your room. First we get a dirty room and we go down to the reception and we got a better room,a clean one, with towels and soaps and all the rest. So, for a night, you can take it, but expect the 2 stars, nothing more. We were just passing by through the city, who is the European Capital of the Culture for this year, so for 1 night it was almost ok(no ventilation or AC, so it was hot and with the noise of the street you have to close the window).
