This is actually 5th time we stayed in this hotel on the way to and back from Poland to either Croatia or Tuscany. The hotel is few minutes off the A1 highway in Maribor. It is run by family, with lot of touch. The rooms are very nice, there is free guarded parking and free wifi and very nice breakfasts. The owners are giving extra touch making you feel really welcome. We will definately come back again every time when we are on the way. It is a small venue - you can call in from the way to check if they have rooms. Every time you will really feel welcome and rest on the way - no sense to drive long time more to your destination over night and risk your life.
This is really homey - butique hotel.

This place is a real surprise. A little outside of the Central
City area of Maribor the Hotel looks quite plain on the outside.
It is a real surprise to walk in to this very colourful interesting well serviced bed and breakfast style Hotel.
We were very happy and comfortable here and highly recommend it. We had little communication with the owners but all staff were pleasant.

The hotel owners made us feel very welcome at this quirky small-ish hotel just outside Mirabor. Impeccably clean, modern rooms. Great night's sleep and a very enjoyable stay - definitely recommend it.

Located on the outskirts of Maribor in a very quaint little village this hotel was a pleasent surprise. The rooms and common area are modern, clean if a bit 'funky' decor. The best part is the service - owners themselves are quite involved and wonderful people who really make sure their guests are taken care of. Breakfast was excellent, there is a small bar, internet, free parking - everything you need for a short stay.
Located perfect for seeing Maribor and surrounding area, or for a stop on the way to other location. Highly recommend.

My partner and I are both convinced that Andrej and Nina and the most hospitable, kind and generous hotel owners on the planet. They could not have been more friendly or helpful. It's a lovely place to stay and very close to the town, a short walk from a supermarket, pharmacy, etc and a great garage round the corner to get your car serviced if you're on a long road trip. We were at a friends wedding so didn't get the opportunity to try Andrej's cooking, though I heard from other guests it is good.
Fabulous public swimming pools a short walk away - one Olympic sized and two more half this size, one for children and one for game playing and there is a water slide to boot! A 30 minute walk along the river from here takes you into the town centre. Slovenia is beautiful, winter and summer.... and the wine!!! As it happens Maribor has the oldest vine in the world growing healthily outside the wine museum, over 400 years old.
